So I was sitting here watching some DVR'd shit and decided I'd play with the PDX REM simulator. Set it to fire carnival, Egyptian/JP2 Godfest, and decided to roll until I got an Odin or Sonia...after a bit I decided I'd stop if I got a Meta also. Starts from the bottom up.

Sooo, 123 rolls(615 stones worth). To get a Light Meta. If you look close you'll see a nice streak of 27 straight non-gold eggs in there.

I tried a similar experiment just now with the criteria of stopping once I got both Yomi and Anubis:

I'm sure that's exactly how it will play out in the real thing. Yup, no doubts.

Good luck!

Super Golds for me in 1 hour, here's hoping I don't get distracted in EQN:L and miss it.

My understanding of the new rarity is that you get less 3* but this does not mean you get more 5*/6*. It's more like the 3*'s got changed to 4*'s (which makes sense because most of the 4*'s are just evolved versions of the 3*'s anyway). If you look at the data collected in P&D Forum's spreadsheets you'll see the actual drop rate of Godfest gods is the same in January as it was last year. The change happened immediately after Player's Choice godfest ended.

Basically there's about a 25% chance of getting one of the gods in a godfest. 5*'s look to be around a 2% chance, while 6*'s are more like 0.5%. If you include the carnival gods, it's about 35%, and then the troll gold eggs make up the last 5%. The rest will be mostly 4*'s and the few 3*'s that still drop.

Just finished, missed the first 10 minutes because yeah... playing with Legos is apparently fun.

10 Supers, 15 Kings, and I didn't even count how many High. It was 6 stones which should have been 12 runs but may have been 13 with starting STA. Now to figure out what to spend them on.

Still playing off my free stones! Since I don't have anything else to spend them on these days I just use it on Super Descends, and since Gold is so rare it seemed worth it. Only other time I'll probably spend them is when the red carnival lines up with godfest for ROdin and/or Sonia.

Heh, the more I've thought about it the more I've decided that supers are the ONLY thing worth spending stones on.

Still going to try for Anubis, but other than that I'm probably not touching a REM again. Not sure what I'd actually do if I got an Anubis anyway. Kind of seems like you'll have won the game once you have him D/L'ed and awoken, with a bunch of D/L friends. Is there anything he won't be able to beat (and probably 0-stone barring terrible orb-trolling) with ease, aside from the obvious team-cost-limited stuff?

I reeeeeeally want that Rodin or Belial or Ronia or at least red fruit dragon if I'm gonna make Shiva work some day. Which I guess is the next team on my list of teams I'll never truly maximize=P

I've given up on a team with perfect subs. I'm going to finish maxing my top tier monsters and then spend stones on descended skill ups.

Of course I'll spend the next two weeks trying to max skill chiyome.

Aaaand as soon as I realized this is going to be my best chance to level up Zeus I caved and spent 4 stones on super gold. I really need a team that can sort of reliably run twinlits, I need like...some of them.

14 Supers and 12 Kings, had it so I could run it twice and level then run it twice again and (I think) I spent 4 stones after that. Going to max my kirin if I can then level my zeus.

3 stones used, 8 runs total. 6 super golds, 6 kings, and a 28 of the high golds. Fucking seriously? Verche to 73, Kirin to 94.
I'd have blown more stones on it, but it was bed time for the kids, so we played a few rounds together (and I wasted nigh on 60 stamina from refreshing without dumping 30 stam into OoH).

These are my Light creatures of any importance, except Zeus @ 51, somehow forgot to add him. Just really not sure where to put it as I never run a Light team, so would mostly be looking at whatever the best sub is for some random team. Can't even really think of any Light subs I consistently use other than Valk. I use Kirin sometimes but mostly U&Y if I need 25x or Horus. Verche is still not Evo'd and Busty so that could be good.
