My Horus will be R/R'ed tomorrow; I got 4 masks yesterday but still have zero dubs. I suppose I could get angelits instead, but I still think it's crazy to give up all his RCV. I also tend to use Horus/Kirin instead of Horus/Horus for anything serious though.
And a big FFFFFFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU~ to King Carnival coming before the godfest, AND on a day in which I must get 6 dub-mythlits. I'm going to end up doing alternating kings and dubs to use 75 sta, and probably spend 5 or 6 stones that I know I will come to regret when I don't get my Anubis in the first 5 pulls. :/

Sent. I use Luci pretty often, don't have Ares, and haven't started using Gabriel (yet). My 404 blue team is still "building".
I got my dub amelit yesterday during 1.5x on t6 and evolved my Anubis to D/L. Fuck yeah. Now I just have to work on getting 8/9 combo streaks.

Really you'll be good with Horus, Bastet, Anubis, Ra as a starter. Anubis and Ra have a much higher difficultly level with needing to consistently match (or have available to match) all the colors and/or get 8+ combos.
Red Sonia also probably isn't bad if you happen to get it as there are lots of Devil type subs that are non REM.
DTron is a good lead but it seems he mostly centers around IAP and using multiple REM drops to be super stud, along with Tamas for Awakening both he and the subs.
That's kinda my look at it, nothing incredibly insightful I know.

Horus, Bastet, Dark Metatron, Anubis, Ra, Haku, Red Sonia, Arch Angel Lucifer.
Arch Angel Lucifer, Bastet, Red Sonia, Dark Metatron, Haku, Horus, Anubis, Ra. If you get ANY of those, keep the account. I listed them in "ease of play".
Lucifer is the worst tank and grind part of the game, but trivializes content that can be otherwise hard.
Bastet is (eventually) a good 16x lead, with a scaling damage modifier based on the amount of combos.
Red Sonia is a rare roll that should allow you to clear through some content pretty easily.
Dark Metatron is heavily geared toward specific team members that you get through in-app purchases, but can be damn powerful.
Haku is a great spike lead, easy to level, and not too difficult as a lead.
Horus is probably one of the best spike leads, and you don't need to evolve him to actually use him. One of the best available.
Anubis is hard to use (10 combos, aka a whole board, to get 10x multiplier), but is the end-all-be-all for spike damage. New form means you can do 8, 9, or 10 combos for 4x, 7x or 10x (or 10 - 15 combos for 10-15x). Can be a game changer.
Ra is crazy. Match one of each color and get 6x. New form is match 4 different colors and heart or 5 different colors for 4x, match 5 different colors and hearts for 7x.
I also think Isis can be decent (especially with her new form) as well as Kirin and/or Umisachi&Yamasachi as well.
Vorph is right, start as soon as the Dark festival starts (Friday Morning). Festivals are weeklong, and give a 1.5x increase for the specificed monsters. Godfests are 24 hours and give a 3x increase. If you get Haku or Anubis (or Archangel Lucifer), start clearing dungeons as fast as you can for free stones and roll on godfest as well.
There's like 0.58% chance of rolling a specific monster in the REM. It's 0.84% for a festival, 1.74% during godfest, and 2.61% during a godfest+carnival. That's only increases for being featured, as I'm pretty sure the chance for a non-godfest/non-carnival monster to appear goes down, but I have no idea.
So, don't really try to roll for specific gods (unless you're rich or rerolling).

So the DJ/Luci team for Red Pirate - Legend is actually really easy and safe to grind it out. Maybe a 20 min run... think I'll just suffer through this the next 10 days or whatever and see how many Ninja skill ups. So far 4 runs and not a single red pirate or chaser has even shown up.

Is this the godfest you guys would pull on - on a new account or should I bide my time - I have Luci - and Orochi from the rem only, about 10 rolls saved up, but I'm not against waiting longer. It seems like Egyption is a good pull, but the Norse gods are pretty shit.

Norse gods are good subs for Mono teams (Loki and I&I particularly) and can make ok farming teams. The Egyptian gods got ultimates and are now pretty damn good. I'd roll a few times. Fuck, I have Anubis, Isis, and Horus and I'm still tempted to roll (for Metas/ROdin/Sonias).
