one of my favorite singers ever. many memories from my childhood singing along to his songs. all those songs off Bat Out Of Hell were classics. Jim Steinman wrote them and he basically made Meatloaf a big star. later he did that with Bonnie Tyler and Total Eclipse of The Heart.
fuck he died less than a year ago and i didnt even know it.
R.I.P both of you guys.

and

both regularly make it on to my workout playlists. The last thing I remember really seeing him in was a season of Celebrity Rehab with I think Chyna?

His name was Robert Paulson.

edit - I'm too slow~

RIP Marvin Lee Aday.

You made my power ballads playlist a lot better.

Not that I am disputing, but why does a lot of information about his name say this?

The Dallas-born singer was born Marvin Lee Aday but also known as Michael, and got his nickname when his dad said he looked as red as meat at birth, before a high school football coach added the "loaf"

I have bat out of hell on vinyl. Turned my wife into a super fan by making her listen to it while cooking dinner. Proceeded to listen to it everyday for a month front to back.

The whole album is great. Not a bad song on it.

Yeah, like others here. That album Bat out of Hell was in a very short stack that got repeated throughout my teenage years.

Did anyone find out what he would not do for love before he died, or are we going to be stuck with that question forever?
