Looks like he works for an investigative firm big companies use to background check potential partners. Ray is on the ownership deal list as a 3% partner. This guy knows Ray is a fixer, and has been involved with some major illegal activities--the NFL is very, very stringent about anything like that being involved in their deals. The FBI guy could sink the whole deal just by digging up the stuff he already knows on Ray; and he already hates Ray for costing him the Director of the FBI position.

I'm glad they semi wrapped up the idiotic teacher story.
But now are they moving into Ray's brother and wife possible? That would be sloppy and out of character.
I guess I am picky, but this is the 15th "Mick your leaving town" episode as well.

Yeah, Darryl is likely dead. He's going to be seen in Mick's car, they think Mick is working for the cops now, and they need a reason for Mick to stay in town...again.
They finally killed one really lame plotline with the teacher, only to replace it with another in the Abby/Terry bullshit. This show could be god-tier if they'd stop with the pointless, soap-opera bullshit. That's why Season 1 was so amazing, they kept that crap to a minimum.

SEMI SPOILER QUESTIONS:
So...
Cochran breaks into Ray's other apartment, and gets access to his laptop. (No password? Or assume Cochran is FBI hacker?)
Ray's team happens to have his laptop monitored? (When did they have time to do this, or has he always monitored his own laptop?) And how did they know Cochran was going to break into the apt?
They didn't even know he had been in the storage unit yet, let alone have the poker.
So dismiss all that....and Cochran looks through Ray's laptop sees some general land shots and determines this is where a body is buried? (Did Ray label the file dead body spot?)
AND THEN emails the FBI from Ray's very laptop, which he would have to know could hurt the case later. (IP address check would determine at the very least a break-entry scenario..even if he is a private citizen now)
For all the good things this show does, it's silly details that drive me crazy.

Cochran didn't use rays laptop. He used his own, which was being monitored. He got the coordinates from triangulating ray's cellphone on the day of the incident, which he knew from finney.

They went to his place of work to copy and monitor his laptop? (He didn't have it with him while he was out)
I'll need to re watch the scene I guess.

Edit: You are right, I am an idiot. I assumed it was the work computer (Desktop) they monitored.

I have to assume at this point, the hooker who stole Daryl/Micks Cadi and took off with the money is the one that is going to show up dead when the Armenians blow up the car or whatever. I really wouldn't have minded killing off the Daryl character as well, he doesn't add much to the show. Either that, or the hooker with the stolen car somehow gets the main hooker/kid into the mix as well and they all die.
I'm still a little surprised they let Cochran go...couldn't he still easily have Ray arrested for shooting him in the damn leg?

Yes and Cochran giving up right before the cops would have stormed in, saved him and found the evidence he planted is absurd even if Ray really did bash his head in; after all it's not like he has much to live for besides vengeance. Also love how Finny seems to have zero security besides Ray for some retarded reason... how many times have people snuck onto his property without being caught now?
That and Micky once again dodging the bullet is dragging everything down. Too bad Ray's entire family couldn't just go back to Boston, drop off the face of the earth and let the show be about Ray and his business. Enough soap already.
