Wait, he's about to get saved by a trans self-insert character in the back half the season.Season 2 is snoozeville. Most dull, fake and gay plot yet. I feel like I’ve seen this plot 50 times before.

This show has a compelling main character that at least pretends to be not shitlibby. But there is something about the story where it just kind of 'continues' rather than builds. At some point with the whole 'secret police' B plot it's like, OK so there's going to be betrayal and some g-men doing things. The Sherlock 'look at shoes and know 300 facts about man' thing doesn't really help. Maybe it's because the books are more methodical or written better? It seems like it could be interesting but S1 ended up being Hulklock Holmes and the Midsize Criminal Organization.Fuck, I'm agreeing with folder.
I guess I shouldn't be surprised it's turning out this way because the end of the first season was pretty weak with a generic warehouse shootout with dozens of faceless loyal bad guys in that Podunk area. Nothing about this season feels compelling and fresh in any way.
I swear I’ve seen this same storyline more than once - dude has to save his old spec ops team or whatever. Bummer cuz first season was funFuck, I'm agreeing with folder.

It's because they're both white! If Reacher was black the store owner would have shot him when he walked in!The gun purchasing scene really took me out of it. what store owner would sell a ton of guns to a guy being so shady and blatantly tipping off he was going to kill people with them?
I think it's supposed to be him seeing how much he is missing out on being a hobo. Like funerals, weddings, family, etc. Which exacerbates his feelings about Swan and how he could have been so wrong about him, but wanting him to be innocent. Why is Reacher so emotionally unhinged this season?
If a SGT comes under attack, unspecified security features in the vehicles give them, according to the NNSA, the capability to "surprise and delay even the most aggressive adversary". The full range of defensive components in SGTs is unknown, but according to some media reports the vehicles are equipped with autonomous weapons systems and other "high-tech surprises" that allow them to independently engage and repel attackers even if all human crew have been killed or disabled. The NNSA has also stated that access to nuclear weapons held within a SST is not possible, even for crew members, due to unspecified security features that prevent the doors from being opened except in "an approved security area".
You guys are overthinking the whole truck security setup. It was a truck, meant to be hijacked, whose travel arrangements were set up by the bad guy.
