How do you sell pelts? I have been to two locations the trapper would be and though his camp is there, he is not.

Just walk through a river. So multiplayer... I make a character, and I'm riding around listening to people yap and then there's a little shoot people camp, a treasure map, and then it dead ends.
I ride off in a random direction and get some kind of countdown then it says I failed the mission. What mission!? Nothing on the map, nothing on screen. When does the actual multiplayer start?
Character customization is terrible, the shooting feels like trying to do surgery with a sledgehammer. This badly needs some real artist mod love and a mouse for aiming. I truly feel bad for console peasants right now. I also need a shower.
Man, going with a mute character for the story missions in online was a really terrible idea. I get the idea that the character is supposed to be you and it might be distancing to have a voice that you don't want (since it'd be pretty expensive to voice 15 or more different voices) but it's way more distancing and distracting to have a mute character. I didn't realize how off putting this would be. Why not just get the Sadie and Arthur actors to do the voices? Would anyone really have objected to that vs a mute dumbass?
At least in other games with mute characters it usually comes with an ability to make responses via text selections but here you're just dumb.
Lol was playing last night and did a Coop mission where
You have to hunt down four guys, hog tie them up, and them the mission giver has you throw them on the train tracks and leaves us there with them. We have the option of setting them free or watching them get run over. All of us vote for "Let them die" and as the train comes, we all stand there on the side of the tracks in a line whistling and mimmicking the train whistle every time it blows. Guys on the tracks "OH MY GOD COME ON HELP US!!!!"... all of us continue to Whistle...
I haven't laughed that hard in a video game in a while haha!
Yeah, I did that mission too with a friend. Her and I running good karma characters and the two randoms voted to kill them. I suppose there is some sort of internal coin toss because we lost and had to watch them get run over.
What benefits do the karma system bring in online?
Also, can you sell wagons like you could stolen cars in GTA? Should call it the Dime and Turpentine.
So I checked the tool tip and basically we get discounted prices in the catalog which will come in useful. Thing is, I am not sure what the benefits are for turning dishonorable, and they have an NPC which will make you dishonorable for a price. So I am not sure why that is there...

I thought it had something to do with mission access or rewards of a mission, depending on karma, but wasn’t real sure.
So far, a quick way for cash I have found is bird hunting. Spoonbills, north of St. Denis, get $1.95 per feather. If you have the varmint rifle, thays easy 3 star kills. I got 12 feathers from 4 birds in less than a minute. They weren’t always there, but the Herons are there and they were $1.50 per feather. In 30 minutes of running around, I made about $150. Plus I stocked enough meat I had to sell some of it to get more.
I saw a tip where if you set Age then change other stuff, your age look goes back to whatever it started as (but the slider doesn't reset). So that's probably why everyone looks old and wrinkled. I started over.
