Good deal... I think team PvP would really be the ticket. It was a lot of fun in EQ and if they can pull it off in a classic or progression setting, it would be awesome. I love the initial rush of a new server for EQ. So they thinking December? It sounds like this is more than talks to me.

yeah... I wouldn't spread it to thin. At least split the difference. You want to have big rumbles when the server first opens up. Eventually people will all be max and have alts sniping newbies. Not sure if they'll want to put the development time in but I would make zones randomly have some type of spawn with special drops for everyone to hunt and fight over. Sometimes it can be raid level stuff or maybe there's a random frog lock that has some awesome loot that you have to track down that everyone goes for.. just something to get the packs moving and force fights.

they're big about proof before punishment on P99. the new code is to help them catch people. lots of people on P99 have handfulls of different log in accounts, making bans less effective.

i personally fraps'd them up on that ledge with Silverwing's corpse next to them

Zade, one of the red99 guides, was talking to me just before they pulled him up there, and said that he couldn't find an official post saying whether or not they're allowed to be up there, and that as long as they don't pull anything they're fine

about two minutes later, they did, and he flat out told me that he saw them do it

the rule has been well-known on the blue server for a year and a half, where a lot of their core members played and experienced it firsthand, and a thread was made in the red server forums a few days prior linking that thread because we had inside information that they wanted to use that ledge to avoid being trained(they hadn't killed anything in VP for weeks because of two bards training them out of the zone every time), and four members of nihilum who were there had posted in that thread, so to say they simply didn't know about it is ridiculous

they just get a slap on the wrist for some insane reason

sirken needs to man up and pull the trigger on punishing these pieces of shit that ruin the server; they constantly get away with retarded bullshit like this whereas others get punished for doing the exact same thing

It's the exact same way on blue or at least was when I played, the GM of the rival guild openly trained us on fraps and all that and nothing happened, Ranger epic piece off Inny got ninja'd and turned in and the GM's did nothing about it for months until they finally just summoned our rangers piece and just said, Oh well you get yours now, the fact that Sentenza is still around and won the BotB proves how corrupt it is, that guy has been caught training more times than I can count.

They wont ban people because if they did, they would have almost no population since everyone is dirty.

So a nice dark elf gave me clarity then a militia skele in the newbie area proceeded to rape me. I respawn and he is as gone as my clarity. So I took a break and rolled a ranger named Privateye.

Apparently halflings cannot be rangers yet. Crashed 3 times before I figured it out,hehe.

pretty much just have to take it for what it is: a shitty, corrupt server, but it's the only option if you want trilogy era everquest content
