For all you guys just starting up here or coming back, here's a quick guide to farming up some plat as you level. Also, if you're trying to buy anything make sure you go to the PvP Trading Hub forums and search for the item name. Get a feel for a solid price you're willing to pay, people WILL try to sell you shit for way over the typical price. Be informed, don't waste your hard earned plat.

From what I read, mobs are full pop after a reboot. Am I wrong?

Love the exp rate (maybe a bit too fast with a full goup IMO) but if only this was not PvP...

From what I recall, there is no +/- spawn randomizer like blue. Mobs spawn on the exact hour and server goes full repop on reboots.

Figure out what you need with group pals really as far as classes. Rogues are currently in high demand. Balance things out and ride the xp train up.

Whatever you make will be fine, cleric/rogue zerg needed for the big Velious targets.

No stupid variance/5am javelin contests here like on blue .

Sorry I haven't been in this thread more. Work / raids / every little damn thing holding me up.

I'm still good for ports/binds and whatever hand outs I can afford, although I'm pretty much tapped and farming OOT again.

The way I see it, farming up like 1k and buying a bunch of small items from new pals and giving it away helps people 2 fold. I guess I'm just 1 man... then again your crew seems to be growing. Don't be afraid to circle back and help people catch up, it pays off big time.

I think every single person that has hung around with us for 3 months and showed up to raids has an epic. So, hopefully you will make it and count yourself among them.

No fuckin idea on Velious release, they are trying hard for it and beta looks like its in home stretch but... who knows how long 10th ring war and sleeper script will hold that up. At any rate, PLENTY OF TIME to switch from blue or start fresh on Red and be ready for Velious.

Been having a blast with the forum pals. Agree the plat struggle is real as a caster class though!! I just hit level 27 and only been on a few days. I have maybe 100p in the bank and am missing a TON of spells. Just looking to get bare minimum spells and push levels. No need to waste time farming lowbie camps for bronze armor, etc when you could just be progressing tiers ahead into camps with valued items / cash drops.

Speaking of gear, at 27 I am rocking full cloth junk drops from the level 1-5 trash mobs. I have no jewelry, offhand, or range item. If anyone has any spare caster gear, it would be seriously appreciated!

I will be in HHK for the forseeable future. I think its the best XP up to 40 iirc. Shame it has no noteworthy drops whatsoever.

Which reminds me... I will be on tonight around 9:30pm EST looking to group HHK goblins. Save me a spot or lets get something started again like last night.

Just curious why you are ditching the chanter? It's what I am currently leveling up.

Got 50 last night and an FBSS drop for the warrior. Pretty good haul overall! Most (All?) of us have joined Fresh for the time being and as I understand it Zaide was pretty clear that we may have intentions of going Holo or making our own thing in time and their guild leader was totally cool with it. I'm busy until Friday but I will be around then and hopefully I can group with yall some more or help folks level. Also Jysin I have an Oracle robe and i think a FBR in my bank I can hook you up with one of them next time we are both on.

I love chanters, but I'm sick of them. I was able to duo very well with the druid starting from scratch with no help. Plus, it's probably me, but I've never been able to do much with chanters in pvp post 50. High end people are so well geared that even with Tash everyone resists the shit out of my nukes. Even if I mez people I can't do much to hurt them. PVPing with charmed pets is just a huge pita. I guess I wanted a class with a little more potency in pvp. I had an endgame wiz on SZ and I know what they can do. Never done an endgame necro, but I've played one into the 50's. They don't get fast kills like a wiz, but a good necro rocks at zone control.
