Holy shit European courts are insane. That right to forget crap against Google was bad enough.

And yea, hosting that site in Germany was a bad idea. The germans are why we can't use nazi symbolism in many games because you can't sell it in Germany with them. It's a whole country as a safe space. No matter that the swastika is still easily accessible on the net. I'm a bit surprised the germans even allow google or wikipedia to let their citizens see swastikas.

Hey there, I'm one of the (now ex)mods for /r/badfattynodonut and I can confirm that it wasn't ban evasion - we were just a new fat hate sub with new guidelines that followed Reddit's new rules. We didn't have the former FPH mods, in fact - they called us a watered down version and really didn't want anything to do with our sub.

We reached out to Reddit admins, and they responded with copy-pasted replies saying that we harassed individuals. The communication was pretty swift, and we got responses fairly quickly. Then I asked whom did we harass, and asked if a fat hate sub (an idea) could exist on Reddit without breaking site rules. It's now been 11 hours of silence from the admins' side.

Edit: 14 hours. And I'd advise people to sceencap/save this comment in case I get shadowbanned for some shady reason or this comment gets deleted.

Edit 2: One of the admins not in charge of community told me that there is a chance they just don't want to answer. In 10 hours, I'll release all the mails I've sent and received and you can judge for yourselves.

In related news, FPH on Voat gained another wave of registered users. Was at 11k 8 hours ago, it's at 11.5k now.

Yea, but they have a different flavor of corporate overlord. Iceland has been trying to corner the market on server space, but their ethos hasn't been tested much. Silk Road was hosted in Iceland, but while I agree with the premise of the marketplace, that guy tried to go kingpin and have people killed.

Its like films, the bad guys are always suave as fuck. Actually remember seeing some tumbler campaign few years ago about boycotting hugo boss casue they supported the nazis. The ignorance of people is astounding, the fuck did they think BMW, Mercedes and VW done during the war years, let alone all the Jap companies too.
