The episode was alright, but they had a run of three episodes of season 1/2 quality so it's mediocrity was probably more noticeable. It was an artsy episode where they tried some different shit that fell a bit flat. Tossing weird shit out there to see what sticks is how the show got to where it is, so I can't be too hard on them.
I watched the after episode breakdown and they said they were going for a horror movie vibe (with a Rick and Morty flavor), so I get that, but it's hard to make that funny.
