Re: Mulan sauce - supposedly it is:
2 tbsp dry sherry
1 1/2 tbsp minced peeled ginger
2 garlic cloves, minced
1/2 tsp dry crushed red pepper
1/2 cup canned low sodium chicken broth
2 tsp cornstarch
1 1/2 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp asian chili-garlic sauce (Sriracha these days, no?)
1 tsp sugar
Combine everything but the cornstarch and broth - bring it to a boil.
Combine cornstarch and broth until cornstarch is dissolved.
Stir both together until thickened.
Servings: 4
