The squirrel memory was funny as fuck.
Squirrel universe shows they have hopped more than once from their original, and also explains why in the previous episode the Rick looking for donations had to double check his paperwork before realizing who they were.

And that one does bring up the question of where in the timeline that was - that makes Cronberg World and Squirrel World as two abandoned universes. (I'd presume it was pre-Cronenberg for continuity myself)

Goddamn, we basically jinxed with the timing there. Didn't think about paperwork Rick's confusion, interesting point. (Course in my mind since he's so anti-government, I doubt he's reported ANY of his homeworld switches so even one would've been enough to cause a glitch with Paperwork Rick)

Did they necessarily have to hop ? Rick could've just wiped Morty's memory and stayed there.

The episode was a bit too meta for my tastes, even interdimensional cable was funnier.

The illuminati squirrels still knew and would have to eliminate Rick and Morty to keep the conspiracy a secret.

What is interesting, though, is that means that is the first memory in the memory vault unless Rick was able to bring them all with him after they ditched that universe. This means this is also Morty's third family at minimum.

But Rick mentioned he told Morty they only had 3-4 of these at best, so this has to be post-Cronenberg.

I'll take random character development episode over random intergalactic cable any day. I don't really enjoy those episodes but I liked this one a lot, maybe not crazy funny but had good moments and a lot of interesting things.

I remember I said a "seminole moment" on here instead of "seminal"

Felt bad, man.

This latest episode was decent enough, but it mostly fell flat. There were one or two moments where I kind of chuckled, but the rest was very straight face watching. Oh well. I'm sure next week will be greatness once more.

I think I would've preferred Interdimensional Cable III
Weird, because I really enjoyed this one. Thought it was funny as fuck. Never really liked Interdimensional Cable.

Kind of wonder if people who liked Interdimensional Cable disliked this one, and vice versa.

I love the IDC episodes, but still loved this one. That said, I'll be sad if they don't actually have an IDC this season. As much as I enjoy the show for its deep and character building stuff, my sense of humor is very random and matches up well with IDC.
