I never beat Tyson either

But I did beat Andre Panza and that more than makes up for it.

I already covered this. All MMO's are the same now. Rift has an extremely high ratio of bad players, but it's not abnormal at all, it's exactly the same in every other game. Like I said, everyone under the age of about 29 needs to just be killed, they just have no hope. You especially. Quite frankly, if you didn't beat mario and sonic in your pre-teen years, slog your way through the likes of monkey island before the internet existed, and played MMO's before maps and radars where commonplace, then you are not even a gamer. You never achieved anything of value. The only significant thing you ever achieved in a game, was an 'achievement'.

Do do do dooo dooo! **CONGRATS! YOU KILLED 5 ENEMIES** Here is a likkle button for your scrap book. GOOD BOY!

Hahahahaha

Wait.. lv50? When I read "not end game" I thought you just meant raiding. So you wasted our time with a huge multi-post rant about how easy leveling, old dungeons and pre-60 warfronts are and how you don't need a well-researched build to succeed? Well fucking duh.

And I wasted my time responding, for fuck's sake. Fail all around.

I've logged into the f2p thing twice now and just instantly logged out. I can't think of a game I want to play less than Rift, which is strange because I had a pretty fond opinion of it my first time around. I can understand logging into a game that came out 10 years ago and thinking "how could I ever like this?" but Rift came out in 2011. It's like it has some genetic deformity that makes it age 10 times faster than any other game, because it just feels decrepit in every aspect.

Everything done in Rift is done well, but my issue is everything about the game is been there, done that. It's not just Rift, to be fair. Every time I get a free week in WOW I'm done by the second day.

I wouldn't use the word decrepit. For me, it's just boring.

That's good news for me, a few people have said level 60 content becomes quite challenging and hardcore. Maybe I should motivate myself to go on and try it for myself. My point still stands though, even if level 60 is gaming nirvana, having a terrible 1-59 means you done fuxed up.

At 50+ Warfronts are mostly retarded. It's around this tier in particular where most healers and warriors are basically gods and unless they are focused down they won't die and probably neither will anyone on their team. Best of luck trying to get 3+ people in a pug to go after healers at once too, even if you mark them for the raid. You can tell within the first 20 seconds if you're going to lose or not by how many people on your team jump on that one specific warrior who always Leeroys into the zerg, yet takes no damage because he's being healed by the stationary clerics at the back.

Not sure if it gets better at 55+ or 60+
If WF's are still like they used to be you can tell if you're gonna win or lose before the match even starts. Add your clerics and your warriors, if that number is less than half of your total you're about to get farmed. Whitefall (or whichever map that one, the carry the football map) was the only exception to that rule -- you just needed 1 good Rog to carry the entire team in that map.

For dungeons PA is pretty irrelevant. For raiding, well, obviously you want everything + full conquest buff unless you are rolling with folks that have it on farm.

It helps that you can focus your PA on the weapons you have and reset them if they change.

Some of the PVP PAs are quite strong, too. Not the valor nodes but the passives.

I'm actually convinced that qwerty, like myself, is at best barely above average and actually sucks at a large amount of games. He and tad just have fucktons of free time to spend on shit and they equate time spent pretending to be a hobbit with skill.

Rift has gone downhill since it started using leveling have as a kind of practice to get people used to the game mechanics without punishing you too much while you learn the game. Most players spend 99.9999999999999999999999999999999899.99999% of the game leveling and only the remaining 3% doing endgame raids like place of sky.
