Yes, they're not rejecting it because they are the opposite of independent. They have been captured already. They are just a mindless, subservient golem at this point, doing their Globohomo master's bidding.

The rank and file conscripts are definitely refusing to fight. I posted many videos to that effect. Protesting the war is illegal, along with freedom of press, freedom of speech, freedom of opposition, freedom to have a party that challenges the propaganda of the state apparatus.

There's not a single way that these people are independent. Their last legitimate election was the one before Maidan when they elected someone who wasn't a Globohomo stooge, who was... quickly putsched by Globohomo who ignored the independent decision of Ukrainian electorate.

Of course some are true believers but the amounts of refuseniks is massive. We are talking amounts that make would US refuseniks in Vietnam Era seems paltry by comparison. I posted many videos of these before. Large amounts of Hohol conscripts surrendering immediately when they get sent to the front lines because they know its a futile war. Hohol conscripts killing their own commissars in a rage at being used like this. Chris these soldiers are kept in line with threats of prison, threats against their families, and literal threats on the front where the Hohol commissars spend more time pointing guns at the backs of their own Hohol soldiers than at Russian Army. That's why they fight. There are also massive amounts of better off Hohols escaping the country as "refugees" and refusing to return. These are men (and women) of military age. If they truly believe in this cause, why are none of the Ukrainians abroad returning to fight in this righteous battle for independent Ukraine? Why is it that instead more and more are fleeing, even men resorting to dressing up like women to sneak through borders out of Ukraine?

You already know this but you are so invested in this issue (contrary to your never ending denials) but your pride refuses to allow you to acknowledge that you were wrong.

There is nothing independent about Ukraine, it is literally a Globohomo hive for human trafficking, money laundering, illegal medical and biological research and just about any other sick violations of ethics and human dignity that civilized countries made illegal in their own borders. Instead they just go to Ukraine to do it.

Here's the head of NATO, Jens Stoltenberg admitting that they received peaceful proposals from Putin that would allow Ukraine to maintain sovereignty but NATO rejected them to pursue war

From one of the highest-ranking Ukrainian government officials. They admit keeping Ukrainians trapped in Ukraine because they're afraid to let them leave. Because they won't come back to fight for Ukraine
