Yeah, I celebrate the Catholic version with my own family because my kid goes to a Catholic school and it would be retarded to confuse a child and have them learn one set of Christian traditions at school and a completely different one at home. But I have also celebrated the Russian version with my relatives on January 7th when asked. I don't really care.

Ultimately, I am not particularly religious nor do I obsess about the flavor of Christianity though some are clearly worse than others. I use religion as another tool in my parental toolkit to help structure a moral upbringing for my daughter, since the society around me has mostly abdicated that as a responsibility. In a perfect world, I wish there was a secular value system that mirrored the Christian/Western moral value system of several decades ago, which most of the world also embraced and enthusiastically embraced but alas that is not the case. For example, today I watched my daughter open the present below from some relative, which I immediately hid and will toss in the trash if I can't return it

I never said I was doubtful. My general point that they were all just basically diversity hires for optics. You could put a kid in a space suit and have him tag along with a crew and the kid would be an "astronaut".

Has she done any EVA walks? Fixed or installed components on the ISS? Piloted any craft? Probably not, since her Ph.D. is in Geology and she is a "mission specialist"

Anyways, sounds like this doll would be perfect for you. What will it take to put the two of you together?

I don't have an Orthodox school around here so I work with what I have. If I did, I'd probably send her to that and raise her in Orthodox tradition.

At least I dont send her to a madrassa like you send your kids.

You were doubtful that any would pass your definition of an astronaut because they were black and female. I think that's a truthful interpretation. That's why I was wanting to nail down the definition. Stephanie Wilson did fix and install ISS components and has an aerospace engineering degree. She manned robotics during a spacewalk mission.

I would take the doll for my kid but don't support the purple hair. Thanks for the offer, though!

Yeah it's hard to afford kids when youre on government welfare. The other Muslims figured out how to raise 12 Muhammads and Mustafas on the government dole so I'm sure they'll teach you too.

Since you found the one black woman, out of the variably estimated 600 million, who is a real astronaut...I feel hopeful that we might find a unicorn if we can hash out our definitions. I go with a horse with a real horn on its head. Will that pass your standard? I'm asking because your standard seems much, much higher than NASA's, which promotes both the climate change narrative and it's own 60 page diversity plan. No wonder they have to ask Musk and previously Russia to rocket their people into space today.
