I had my suspicions, but now I have proof
First playthrough I stopped a little bit after I had the dock dealer unlocked. I had been making bricks for a few days at that point. 8 mix meth setup at the barn. 4 mix weed setup in the bungalow. My days were spent resupplying both, spending a fuckload of money on ingredients and employees. I had 4 at the bungalow and 6 at the barn. I was at 150k net worth
I started to have suspicions that wasn't optimal, because everyone online jizzes themselves over "best mix" without understanding that the ROI goes down. Once you make some basic calculations, you see that plain ol' fucking OG is the best ROI out there until you get to coke. So even if you spend no dollars on employee help, you're still falling behind by mixing. So this playthrough I bought the bungalow and have exactly 2 employees - a botanist and a handler packing jars. The botanist can't keep up with 8 air pots and grow lights, and the handler packs it all immediately. Both of my dealers have 100 jars. I counter every deal to be multiples of jars. I'm selling ~20 jars a day, my bungalow operation makes 40-60, more than enough to top off me and both dealers. I don't even have the brick press unlocked, let alone the docks or the dock dealer. Net worth - 150k. And I do way less work to get it. Literally just skateboard around all day.
So yeah, fuck mixing. I do it for funsies and to get new customers easier, but that's it. Not worth the effort at this point in game development
