Well, people are against GMOs because they are against GMOs. They're not against GMOs for reasons. The arguments come after to justify being against GMOs. If an argument doesn't work, there's plenty where they came from.Wtf? That is definitely not "the main argument". I have literally never even heard of that before today
No. This is what anti-GMO folks claim the most. Can you please site peer reviewed scientific literature to support such claims?
Strange, it's the main argument I've heard. Seems others here haven't heard it either. Try Googling "GMOs cause superbugs and weeds".Thisisn't the top article, but it's from the most "credible" source, Wired.Wtf? That is definitely not "the main argument". I have literally never even heard of that before today
Watched a basic home made YouTube video the other day about grilling and the dude says not to let any blackness or char happen to the meat because that char is made of carbon which is a carcinogen.Except there is zero scientific data that remotely suggests GMOs cause cancer...
Edit - I mean if you wanted to you could modify something people eat to produce an oncogenic protein
No, they are well aware of that argument. They just have a dozen cherry picked responses to show why its just a big lie and we could all simply feed ourselves with community urban gardens if people weren't brainwashed by Monsanto and the big pharma devils.I honestly don't think that the anti GMO crowd realizes that without them our yields per acre go down to levels where the current population is unsustainable.
Was itorganic carbonthough? That makes all the difference!Watched a basic home made YouTube video the other day about grilling and the dude says not to let any blackness or char happen to the meat because that char is made of carbon which is a carcinogen.
Carbon.
