I have a huge climbing trip coming up. Past 8 months I've gotten really into it and I've scaled some of the hardest routes in n america. May end up free climbing el cap by march.

Nice! I did the same. Did a bacon red for myself and a chorizo Christmas for the lady. I just feel like red is the better pick in the am for a lazy Saturday. Green is always a bit more of an "event" you know?

What brand of chorizo do you like or do you get some real good stuff from the mexican markets?

I make my own. Get the ground pork from Mc Calls in Los Feliz and use my own paste using different chiles. Ill do a few pounds at a time and freeze the excess.
