One could argue that regardless of the outcome, the numbers that come out of this poll can still produce positive results for someone. That alone means this poll isn't a complete failure.

Sulrn you make it real hard for someone to give you the benefit of the doubt. I mean the first time you brought this subject up I was like "I disagree but I can almost see his point of view/concern." Then you make a Poll with way too many choices basically fucking yourself (your side) out of having any legit chance to win. I can agree that at first glance that it does look like too many choices, but in the end it serves as a distinction between levels of people caring. Subsection being that it still falls under general SS rules (one click away from the same content); a sub-forum makes it that it is subject to new rules and restrictions and forces the Mods to reevaluate the state of affairs, and getting rid of it serves to show if there are any hard liners or trolls in the group. Also, at the end of the day it comes down to a question of "Is this okay or is it not?" It's not a stretch of mathematics to combine the bottom 3 compared to option 1 to see if the community as a whole thinks it's okay or not, if it's okay then that's great and I'm sorry for anyone that feels otherwise. If it's not then it shows that the conversation needs to continue to find a middle ground that both groups can agree to and let the community continue to flourish.

As far as the "dumb ra ra shit", I think you're falling victim to assuming you know definitively how I feel on this issue - which others in this thread have shown they obviously don't. I established my position inBrahma'sthread. I then almost immediately expounded on that position (and my concern for the forum) in the amod thread as a result of Hoser's hissy fit over me questioning something I couldn't tell at first glance was 18+. That said, my dumb ra ra shit is me attempting to show that at the end of the day (or month in this case) that whatever else comes out of this, the thread has the ability to provide more enjoyment for people - even if it does or doesn't affect my interests, as it's given quantifiable substance for them to make their arguments on to the mod team for adjusting current moderation standards.
