We were talking about Metacritic scores, and you were the one that created the tangent talking about a topic that should have been in the Killer Instinct thread.
You certainly at no point stopped.

Removing me , just removed the side of the argument that Sean didn't side with.

But to be clear that is not why I was RRPed to begin with. Had nothing to do with us, that is something you are bringing up to justify this.

Anyhow - I'm done advising here - trying to platinum South Park before Dark Souls 2 gets here tomorrow, so this is cutting into that project of mine.

I do highly suggest getting Draegan to post what the moderation rules are however - because it could very well be that Sean is following them to the letter and that is where the fix is necessary. If moderation is just a "wing it" thing - another solution is probably necessary.

As far as I know the rules are pretty much "as you see fit." I could be wrong, but that's pretty much what it seems to be from every discussion I've seen. With the exception of clear violations, stuff like child porn, personal info, etc. Other than that, it is pretty clear there isn't a set guideline. And if Tuco cares enough, sometimes he'll reverse decisions. That's pretty much it, as far as I can tell.

As far as Sean, I rarely read the threads he goes off the reservation on, but he just did a week or two ago about 30fps vs 60fps on some game where people were saying it didn't make much difference. Just a couple of posts saying it wasn't that big of a deal (for that particular game) and straight to calling everyone that disagreed retards and saying they shouldn't be posting. He escalates faster than anyone I've ever seen, with the possible exception of Lumie. I know he has tons of legitimate discussions too, so I'm not saying he's worthless or anything. But when someone disagrees on something he feels is important (let's not forget the 5400rpm thing), and others don't, he goes ballistic.

I could care less if he's a mod, but just thought I'd clear up the thing about you assuming they have a list of specific rules and guidelines to follow. I'm pretty sure there isn't much beyond the obvious stuff. But I could be wrong, as I've never been a mod either.

If that quote never existed, there could possibly be some speculation, but that quote does exist.

If mods weren't allowed to moderate people they considered stupid, I don't think it would be a very good system.

Your problem is that you throw out ill-considered or simply made-up bullshit and then when called on it, go into a spastic rage. Try not saying stupid shit OR not going into a spastic rage when called on it. Either way and you won't be RRPed. Check out Astro, dude throws out dumb shit all the time, but at least he doesn't turn into a frothing berserker when called on his wrong shit.

As for Sean, I don't think he should be a moderator and I have gotten into huge arguments with him before. I certainly don't much like him. However, him modding you was clearly deserved. He should have done it multiple times already for your stupidity in the hearthstone thread.

Like is said earlier if the poll goes up, and Rerolled bans sean based off those numbers I will 100% leave rerolled froever.
