Dude, I can understand he got under your skin - and perhaps he's given some signs of being a disability faker to you - and I like you quite a bit - but you're going over the line to start pushing me to take frustration with you, man.
Disability absolutely manifests in dozens of different ways, some of which are much easier to manage than others - an online persona is absolutely something that many disabled folk use to bolster their own self-worth to a degree since the barriers (often of which include some level of anxiety) are much easier to manage in an online environment - if you have esteem issues from being teased a shitload as a kid you very well might have an anxiety complex that doesn't manifest in places where you're "in your element" like with other gamers or on a forum where everything is eight paces removed and its easier to deal with it.
Don't get me wrong - his infraction for you was inappropriate - but treat him civilly and don't drag his disability (or potential lack thereof - although I will say from details I'm privy to - he's likely legitimate, if he's not he's researched the hell out of how to sound legitimate - and being that my career was in hiring, I'd like to think I was good at judging character...) into it.
But Vaclav, you don't get it.
Sean USES his disability. He talks about it all the time (his protestations aside, everyone knows that's bullshit) to garner sympathy and make excuses for his chosen lifestyle, which is to sit around and play lots of videogames. He uses it as an active crutch to avoid doing anything to improve his lot in life.
I know paraplegics that do more to try to live some sort of meaningful, fulfilling life than Sean does. Instead, he goes and stands in a crowd to get a midnight release of a game, then spends the next three days poopsocking it because social anxiety.
Do people go over the line with some of the things they say about him, from time to time? Absolutely. But he uses his condition(s) as a weapon just as much as anyone else does, if not more so.

If he does, I've not seen it really - after my banning on FoH I only monitored stuff lightly so maybe there's some history here I'm missing - but for here he seems to be on a different leaf than ya'll are treating him. Some people absolutely use disability as a weapon sometimes or a shield - but at least RECENT Sean doesn't seem to from the conversations I've been involved in. (And heck, he was the first person I got into an argument with upon my return to the forums over Dead Space 3 being decent but nothing great in my opinion - he absolutely gets a bit bull-headed about trivial stuff sometimes)
But again perhaps there's some history I missed, but this is a new(ish) forum and some people in theory would probably like to make a new beginning with it - if he stops doing that stuff doesn't it seem appropriate to stop dredging up stuff from ages ago. (And again, I've not seen it if he's done it here any - certainly seems infrequent if he does - hell, I only found out from other people ragging on him, and even as another disabled person he's not that prone to discuss it even in PMs)

Guess I've missed it - only thing I saw was a brief "just back from the hospital" comment in any of the threads I saw... and a defensive reaction like A-Ray got is sorta different to me - although it's complete bullshit to infract like that regardless.

The old FoH "Other Games" section didn't need a mod, despite a few people asking to be one. Most trolls either got bored quick as we avoided them immediately, or found out some of us were friendly enough to give solid advice.
When Sean got moderator on the new forum, I honestly couldn't believe it considering the narrow view of his opinions and choice of gameplay. He was pretty notorious for being a console fanatic on Xbox, and only really played mainstream games most of the time. I would've taken Tyen as an Other Games mod over Sean any day. Myself and several others I frequently chat with began avoiding that section from the beginning. I post there once-in-a-while, but I don't bother to actively pursue discussion there anymore.
If you guys are wondering why Sean is even a mod, its probably easier to explain it through MMO terms, since you guys can probably all relate.
Remember a time when you were part of a guild, and there was always one officer that didn't deserve be one? Whether it was the guild leader's girlfriend, some no-lifer, or whatever...no matter how legitimate the beefs of the members were against that person, they still remained an officer.
The reason is simple: They're doing something else for the others.
The GL's girlfriend is an easy one: she's sucking his dick. The no-lifer is a bit different but still providing a service. They have all the time in the world, so they farm tradeskill materials, make experience groups, or do other random shit that the other members of leadership don't have the time for, and makes their lives easier.
Now, its likely Sean wouldn't be capable of being dragged from his cave to suck Draegan's cock unless he had a limited edition game disc dangling from his nuts like a Christmas ornament, so he's probably doing other favors. But he's probably also wedged himself into that upper hierarchy as well.
This is blatantly obvious to me because not a single fucking moderator on this board has given one plausible piece of evidence why Sean is one of them. The biggest response any of you have managed to squeeze out was "he does things behind the scenes". Yeah, that's fucking believable.
I give Tarrant credit, for all the shit you guys give him, his fingerprints are everywhere.Its blatantly fucking obvious he's moderating. Whether or not people agree with what he does, I could care less, but at least he's proven he's doing something.

As far as Tarrant goes, he at least seems genuinely sorry when he fucks up. I still disagree with him about the animated GIF thing, but eh, whatever.
