This. People who don't back up their shit deserve their fate.If the dumb bitch had been using iCloud, all her pictures would be safely in the cloud. No SD card needed.
I'd wage the cellular networks also put pressure on the device manufacturers and Google. Nothing like cloud storage with metered data plans.Sorry but the only reason companies do not include sd slots is so they can fuck you in the ass with their higher priced higher capacity models.
So glad I discovered the ability to disable all of the those Verizon apps from the default App manager in my GS3.http://stopthecap.com/2013/05/02/ver...thing-reviews/
Verizon introducing its own cloud storage space, a huge 500mb! Also, you can't uninstall the app.
If you come across a link to that Alpha build, can you post it? I'm watching the XDA thread, but it's such a clusterfuck that it's hard to see anything useful posted there.I posted a few pages back about a Facebook Home-esque notification system coming to Paranoid Android, an Android ROM. Well, it appears that the PA team has included an alpha version of the notification system in their newest update, and it's pretty damn impressive.
Looking forward to running this on my Nexus 4.
Sure. The PA dev team said that they're trying to get it out before Google IO, so it should, hopefully, hit sometime in the next few weeks. If you come across a link to that Alpha build, can you post it? That's what I use PIE for. I can't ever use my phone without PIE nowadays.2 reasons.
Firstly, the notification shade is turned off in some apps, namely games and video apps.
So, for example, if I get a notification of a new email while using an app that disable the notification shade, I need to exit the app I was using, pull down the shade, choose gmail, read the email, push the middle onscreen button to return to the home screen (the back button doesn't usually work in these situations), and then I need to reopen the app I was using. This is particularly annoying when using whatsapp, skype, and other IM programs.
I haven't had any issues with my HTC One feeling slippery in my hands, so I disagree there. I have hard time believing that anything "just came off" a unibody aluminum phone. My experience with the phone it's been solid as a rock, the thing feels solid enough that you could club somebody with it like it was a butt of a gun and it wouldn't show a scratch. His whining about the version of android it ships with laughable, and there really isn't a non google phone that doesn't take a long time to get a android update.I haven't looked around a ton, but this is the first really poor review of the HTC One that I have found. Anyone that has the phone want to rebut some of his claims?

Fairly sure that guy is a Samsung shill. Having had my HTC One for 3 days now, I didn't agree with any of his negative issues. It doesn't feel slippery to me, the construction is solid. The camera was figured out and used by my six year old within a couple minutes without my saying anything (it's no different than any other camera). The menus are different than the touchwiz I'm used to with my sgs2, but not difficult to understand. He's being deliberately obtuse. This is an amazing device.I haven't looked around a ton, but this is the first really poor review of the HTC One that I have found. Anyone that has the phone want to rebut some of his claims?
