No, better than that. He's contending because his jeans are of such high quality, heavy weight denim, that they will break his phone whereas my terrible Levis or Volcomm or RVCA pieces of crap certainly would not.

I put my 6+ in my pocket all the time. It fits just fine. It doesn't bend. It doesn't snap. What the fuck are people doing to their phones to make them bend and break?

From reading a bit more it sounds like the problem might be people who keep the phone in their back pocket. Which I do not. I also think I'd get just the 6 instead of 6+ and it seems like the 6+ is the one with the concern.

No, the people specifically said it was in their front pocket. But yes, I think they are only talking about the 6+ currently.

Yesterday, I left at 10am with the iPhone in my left FRONT pocket of my suit pants. I drove 4 hours to a wedding, which also involved a lot of sitting during dinner etc but also 2-3 hours of dancing. I left at 2am and went to bed, driving home 4 hours back.

So in total, the 6 Plus was about 18 hours in my pocket while sitting mostly.

As I lay it on the coffee table and sat down on the couch to relax from the drive (yes, sitting again ), I saw the reflection of the window in the iPhones slightly distorted.

I don't know why apple is so obsessed with making their phones thin. They are plenty thin enough and I would rather have more battery life than a phone that looks like a giant potato chip.

If i had to guess I would say a bunch of people were used to the iphone size and fucked up and sat on the damn thing and bent it. Now we ge the crazy excuses that down the line we will find out are bullshit.

I actually agree with this and was just making the same argument to a friend. You can only get the phone so thin, and really at what point is it too thin? A buddy at work here has one, and between how thin it is and the rounded edges, I can actually see a lot of people having it slip out of their hands. If you have no case on it, it really feels quite slippery.

Usually my cellphone is connected to my car to charge and play music. It can do Bluetooth but my car decided it won't let you look at your library with Bluetooth. You can only do next or previous track

Isn't Bluetooth streaming audio fairly terrible anyway? You are digitally compressing for RF transmission (Bluetooth) an already compressed (MP3, AAC, etc) audio file.

I simply use an iPod Nano wired via USB into my car stereo and tucked away deep in the center console.

I believe the modern spec for Bluetooth is much better for audio transmissions than it used to be. If I'm on a long trip I just hook my phone up via the aux jack.

Stopped at an apple store to compare the two phone sizes. I thought I would want the Plus, but it is huge. The 6 felt perfect in my hand. Decisions....
