hah, just as a practical matter, male lions have manes, female lions do not. There are multiple mentions of the kids hugging/touching/admiring Aslan's great mane. His mane being shorn is a major symbolic plot point.

doesn't matter, I won't watch it. hell, since it's netflix, I imagine Aslan will look like this anyway.

Hah, this killed the Tangle remake. I like Tangle, not sure it needed a live-action remake anyway. Besides, it would have been Rupaulza, instead of Rapunzel and she would have had a magical weave.
