Ha, Mesut all day erryday. Plus, I expect Draxler to be a Gooner by that point as well (!!!), so he, Mesut, Merts, and Poldi mean I have a more vested interest in the krauts.

That said, I would LOVE the yanks to knock out CRon and Pepe's bitch asses. Looks like the travel in that group is going to be brutal.

Worth a mention - Suarez/Cavani and Rossi/Whyalwaysme vs Englands back 4 is pretty lulz.

It's not an impossible group for the USA, Portugal relies solely on Ronaldo to score and Ghana isn't some powerhouse regardless of past results. Just have Beckerman or somebody take out Ronaldo's knee and play with 10 men the rest of the game, better than even trade off there and beat Ghana. Figure 4 points would take you to the next round.

I fully expect USA to survive group stage, no easy task to beat cr7 team and not suck against Ghana for once, but def possible.
Travel will suck though.

Great results for Liverpool. Touch of fortune about their opening goal but we had so many chances that 4-1 was warranted. Think Owen Goal will get man of the match honours though. Chelsea and Man City dropping points puts us into second but Arsenal needs to start losing some.

At the other end, you would have written palace off as the early relegated team but they've seemed to turn things around and now within touching distance of being out of the drop zone.
Still some big games to come. Spurs needs a win to get back into the top 4 mix or else they'll be danger of falling too far behind. Arsenal v Everton is the big one tomorrow. Wouldn't mind seeing that one end in a draw.

Good LFC win, every game since the Hull loss just makes that loss look more and more incomprehensible. A lot of people have been saying Gerrard needs dropping and depending on his injury they may get their wish, will be interesting to see how it works out.

First Rio coming out last week and bitching about team selections, then rumors that RVP is pretty unhappy and causing a shit storm in training. Can't say I'm surprised or bothered by that.

Said it from the start, Arsenal has the best defense in the league and all the goals Shitty/Chelski ship out against these mediocre teams is proving that right.

Everton are a damn good footballing side under Martinez. Fair draw, thought Giroud snatched a winner at the death. Manc's fight for 4th is going to be fucking tough - Everton/Pool/Spurs all look as good/better (to much better) at the moment than Manc.

Rumors in Barcelona that Barca want RVP in January. Loooooooool.

Wouldn't say they are damn good, think Arsenal were either poor or disinterested more than anything else. Either way the draw was fair to both sides.
