Yeah baby! Back on our perch!
I don't care if it's only few a few days, it's still great to be flying so high.

That said, another 2 tones performance. Completely dominated first half and could have so many more goals, but then just dropped into lower gear for the 2nd half and Cardiff were in control for long spells and potentially could have nicked something.
zero point in playing with the same intensity considering the upcoming fixtures

Worst football match I've probably ever seen. Terrible stuff - Giroud missed a great chance to win it, but his finishing this season has been Torres-esque. I want my 2 hours back.

Need that 2 hours of my life back, fucking dreadful football. After starting so brightly Ozil looks like he can't be arsed to do anything now.

Makes me glad I only woke up to watch the last 10 minutes!
So nice to get an early christmas present, but we'll see that the picture looks like after the next 2 matches.

Also, Tim Sherwood as Spurs boss? LOL, welcome to mid-table mediocrity. Just look above at Fat Sam .gif Neki.

Loving the Sherwood appointment, the amount of damage he should be able to do to Tottenham in 18 months should be significant.

Ya that Sherwood hire is a head scratcher - he's an Arsenal fan to boot! Can't be all bad....

My Ozil erection is needing more and more fluffing to maintain itself. He looked worse than ever today with respect to energy levels. Is there actually something wrong with him? Near the end of the match he was just letting balls go by and/or roll out of play - like they were down 11 nil and the effort of even feigning interest was pointless.

Well...

That's an ummmm... 'interesting' appointment

Maybe Levy wants to wait for a higher profile manager to turn up within these next 18 months since there seems to be a lack of choice at the moment

Who the fuck knows what's going on in the boardroom anymore?

No doubt he and Ramsey are suffering from some fatigue - ?zil has probably played more minutes in the last 4 months than any other 4 month period in his career. Never been a 90 minutes a game type of guy, and his fitness levels have always been a bit suspect. I imagine he'll get some rest the next week or so. Teams in a little funk the past 3 weeks, they need to snap out of it asap with LFC/MCFC/CFC all taking points off one another soon.

A draw would have been fair there, thought the ref was pretty biased with his calls for ManC. On the Chelski!

Yeah, some pretty shocking calls and Man City seemed to have them go that go.
Was always going to be a tough match but seems like a draw would have been a fair result. Sadly, football isn't fair.

Lescott needs to seriously fuck off now. Completely embarrassed today. Thanks for the title winning season Jolly, but your time is well and truly up. Need Nastatic back and he was on the bench today so a return is in order very soon I hope.

If Manchester United get into the top 4 this season it will be a travesty. Thursday night, Channel 5 for them hopefully.

Edit - BTW Hart was really good in goal today. That was a definite confidence building performance. Long let it continue.

Travesty? Aha, points wise... nothing says they can't go for top 2, given the fixture advantages and the typical stronger 2nd half of the season finish. Top 4 is already going to happen

ManUre was shit against Hull, no way they even deserved a draw. Can't wait to see Moyes blow a shitload of money on scrubs, Baines at 30m?? Of course!

CPFC had several good chances to get something at City and didn't take any of them. Strange day of games so far, Hull ass-raping Fulham being the strangest. AVB could turn that club around asap though imo!

Agree Springbok. Palace should have gotten at least a draw from the game. Only positive from a Man City perspective is Hart had another great show in goal. He's getting his form back I think.

Hart was indeed excellent - had 2 big saves that I can remember off top of my head. Didn't see first half, but his eye looked damn near swollen shut at the end of the game. Just saw Mancs lucky ass goal - despite playing like Everton-lite for most of the first half of the season, they are less than a game off CL spots. Interesting second half of the season inc!
