nightmare scenario Chelsea vs Utd in the final
Chelski has already shown they can "Stoke" their way to a CL Final and even their 2-0 last night was just scrappy football that Tony Pulis would be proud of. It certainly won't be out of the realm of possibility for them to do the same in the semis but I despise the notion of it as Mourinho continues to show he's a complete shithead. When they lose he doesn't have the players he needs, when he wins then it's a tactical masterclass. Who knew throwing on 2 more strikers with 15mins to go down a goal was such a brilliant idea? Fucking amazing.....

As far as ManU, they just had the lowest possession in the history of the CL knockout rounds for a home team. Will they even see the ball tonight? CL for them ends tonight, no way Bayern don't come out very direct to get this over with ASAP as the longer the game goes the more the chance for some freak thing to happen that would gift ManU a shot.

The other Madrid may come to regret hitting the wood three times in the beginning of the first half, because if they play the second half like they played the end of the first (not producing any danger), I would be surprised if they manage to defend their 1-0 lead. The thing reeks of 2-1 for Barca if the Atletico does not find a way to play in Barca's half and/or score another.

In the immortal words of Balotelli: Messi the Magician managed to be invisible for another 90 minutes. And the Atletico, with a mix of grit and luck, stayed afloat in the first part of the second half and even managed to be dangerous in the end of the match. Well deserved victory.

Oh well, I am a ManU fan, but the better team advanced. ManU just isnt good enough for the CL the last couple of seasons.

That's a bit of an understatement, good luck getting back in the CL before 2020.....

As far as Barca, pretty sure Tata Martino won't be coaching them next year. Not a single header won all game yet the last 10 mins Barca just resorts to crosses in the box? Atleti is this years Dortmund, all physicality and in the end that doesn't usually end well when you deal with someone as physical yet more technical. I would expect Atleti to lose to either Bayern or Chelsea, Real would be a coin toss.

Atletico to me, looks extremely strong. They allow very little time and space and fill the channels as well as anyone. They kicked Barca's ass tonight without their best player. Brilliant season for them, and Simeone could get any job in football next season. Personally think he'll stay in Madrid a bit longer, but when Barca axe Tata he'd be at the top of their list you'd think. Really fun team to watch, and I'll be rooting for them from here on out.

Anyone but fucking Chelski again. God.

Maybe we are lucky and Giggs doesnt retire until 2021 and Scholes comes back from retirement.

They also literally kicked Barca off the pitch. I'm not saying Atleti didn't deserve to go through but Webb as usual was horrible and was letting Atleti get away with some pretty strong challenges. You could then argue that he let Barca get away with a penalty by either Mascherano or Alves late but the tone of the game was set early where Atleti were pretty reckless in their challenges and Webb let it continue. Same shit he let Chelski do against LFC at the Bridge where Eto'o could have been sent off twice in the first 20 minutes yet Webb is too much of a pussy to do anything early in the game.

Fuck you Evra :/ It was tight at the back but then you had to score a wonder goal and put up all my hopes, only to just make 3 defensive errors in a row to gift them the goals. WHY!?

Chelsea - At. Madrid draw is funny in that Mourinho will probably like it yet Atetli plays even dirtier than Chelsea. Will be interesting to see how they deal with playing at Anfield after 90 mins of having the shit kicked out of them and spit thrown in their face.

RM - Bayern games should be amazing as both will be trying to attack.

The Madrid of the Atletico variety has a problem: their very good keeper, Courtois, is owned by Chelsea. I am not too sure of the legal mumbo jumbo behind it, but the end result is that fielding Courtois against Chelsea would cost the Atletico millions. That's a lot of money for a guy in two matches!

UEFA already said any such clause is unenforceable and Atleti confirmed that Courtois will play. I have no sympathy for the plastic scum as they have some 30 players out on loan right now, makes a mockery of the whole point of the loan system.
