There's no putting aside the fact that Liverpool have bought talent, not proven A-list material. None of the players we have signed would start for Bayern/Barca/Real/City/Chelsea. If even 3 of them live up to their potential it would be a great summer of signings, but you never know. Aside from the striker problem, I'm satisfied with the summer's transfers. Promising players with top flight experience to broaden the squad was just what we needed for the long term. Will it be enough for a top 4? I hope so.

Of course, only Chelsea and Arsenal have bought true world class established players this summer. I've never seen Mangala play, but considering he was benched in favour of Sakho in the World Cup I'm guessing he's not amazing right now.
And as ManU is about to find out, the cost and wages with the supposed A-List players will fuck you for years if you don't get top 3 after spending that money. I don't begrudge LFC at all for not spending 60m on Cavani because more than likely he wouldn't make us top 4 or not top 4 on his own and if by god we don't get top 4 we're going to have to sell like crazy to deal with his shit contract. Let alone what his shit contract would do to the other good performers on the team. That's why I can't wait to see the shit storm after ManUre buy Vidal and put him on a Rooney type contract and then don't make top 4, the whole thing will come tumbling down.

I thought you were changing Maul, alas I guess that's not to be. Sterling has never been injured, Coutinho was only injured at LFC when Ashley Williams kicked the shit out of him though Sturridge is probably a good candidate for an injury at some point. And no, the game in Miami actually featured a squad that you'll almost start to a T tomorrow vs. Swansea while our lineup vs. Southampton will have 3 if not 4 changes in comparison while still without Lallana, Markovic and Moreno.

As I've already said, I'm done trying to explain why we won't fold without Suarez. Think what you want, even the signings as well but I would bet by the end of the season you'll look at what we spent vs. you spent and wish you had signed 2-3 if not more of the players we did at reasonable prices. Have fun with Vidal's bum knee at whatever god forsaken price you end up having to pay as everybody knows your desperate as shit now. Blackett and James starting tomorrow? LOL.
Sterling was out for a lengthy time with a thigh injury in 2013. No body said you would fold without Suarez, what people have said is that your strike force is really weak (lamburk lol), if Sturridge is injured, which is pretty likely to happen, then you are left pretty light up top. About Suarez, the goals aside (which is a not the only factor which matters), it was the movement which put defences out of position that you are sorely going to miss, there aren't many players which can do this. I also love the way that every person Liverpool signs is a future star, yet every person which united has signed is overweight (shaw) or rubbish (herrera). It seems you are so fucking blinded by your clubs badge you just spout rubbish in every post. Shaw was one of the best left backs last season, he is 18 and is a proven defender in the league. Herrera has had a good pre season and he was immense in la liga, so really you have no fucking clue what you're talking about. The players Liverpool purchesed are no world class stars, they are squad players, which while needed, aren't going to set the world on fire.

I also love the way you laugh at Blackett and James starting, what is wrong with bringing youth players through the ranks, wasn't Sterling a youth player? James had a solid pre season as well, why shouldn't he get his chance?

Don't bother replying btw. It will only be the same old you suxx0rs we rule biased shit that you always post. Bored of reading it.

Untill he gets injured, both Sterling ... aren't exactly the most hardy of players,
Sterling is small in height but is not lacking muscle/strength. There's a reason Gerrard said he "doesn't go near him in training"

And yet no where has it said if Vidal signed he would be on a rooney contract, figures quoted where around the 150k mark, which for one of the best box to box midfielders in the game isn't much. United have also paid 700 million on debt in the last 9 years, which is more than you have spent on transfers. But I forgot next year if we don't get top four our entire financial system will collapse. Fuck you really don't know anything do you.

He had a thigh injury in March 13 and was still out when the season ended. He was virtually an ever present last season, what are you ranting on about?

If anyone is injury prone in the LFC team, it's Sturridge

He said sterling has never been injured, which clearly he has, how is that a rant? Were you dropped on your head at birth?

United will finish better, very simply because it would be near impossible to do otherwise with someone who knows what he is doing in charge of the club.
Here were some terrible results:
Home form: West Brom (L), Southampton (D), Everton (L), Newcastle (L), Tottenham (L), Fulham (D), Sunderland (L).

Tidying up the home form will mean United can easily be in the mix up at the top.
This hype train is starting to slow down!
Was anyone, apart from Americans that have never set foot in Manchester, let alone Old Trafford, ever on the hype train to begin with?

It's nearly pointless to compare pre-season friendlies and results, but Unitedhavelooked fantastic in all their matches so far. .
Question answered.

Welp, outclassed at home to Swansea. Juve and Vidal are just licking their fingers at this point. Herrera and Shaw are potential, nothing more at this point though Shaw seemingly is still getting bigger. We signed 4 players similar aged with similar potential for less in fee and wages.

Maul, you understand that the Glazers have to disclose a lot of financial information in regards to the club when they do their stock sales right? The most recent prospectus has to warn buyers that another year without CL will see sponsorship payments cut. I guess you could give the finger to UEFA and just run up more debt but I doubt the Glazers will go for that.

I forgot Sterlings injury from 2 years ago when he was 17 and in his first season, boohooo.

I didn't see Swansea's first goal, who the fuck was supposed to be covering Ki? That's some solid defending right there.

Edit: Also Fellaini is a cunt.

Really poor defending from United this morning - Great result! Thought Gomis looked pretty good (if a bit clumsy). I fucking love this league. Now lets see Lukaku earn his xfer fee.

Maybe it wasn't Moyes.
Sooner or later their fans will wake up to the fact it's the players who are mediocre. Reminding me very much last season and on in to this of LFC when their period of dominance came to an end. On the slide and delusional about impending return to glory. It's going to take years of rebuilding that squad and they need to stand by a single manager throughout or the project keeps getting reset.

Funniest thing was the post match interview with Van Gaal when he started talking about this being the first game he's lost.

That's pretty funny. I can't wait for the storm of retaliation if we lose tomorrow.

Hey, Swansea:

Ha, I walked past one of those today in the middle of the city. On the bus home a city fan was singing to his girlfriend about how happy he was and how he was going to have an hours long argument with his united fan "friend".
