Saw it today with my boys (7 and 9) and they loved it. I personally liked the first movie the most but this is better than 2 (which felt like a DEI movie). Jim Carrey carries (heh) these movies, so with the setup for the 4th it'll be interesting how they do. Kids obviously don't know who he is, but for us old folks he's a national treasure.

so my 6 year old asked about these. Binged 1 and 2 then saw 3 in theater. Not bad. Are these the best video game movies of all time? Well, the new SMB animated movie was pretty good as well. I expected these to be dogshit but it felt like something pretty damn wholesome for kids.

Also my son loves the animates series on Netflix or whatever- prime is really good, the one before it, is meh..but prime they have a great story arc

There are various sonic shows on Netflix and other places. The five boys I took have never played a sonic game but they knew who the pink hedgehog (Amy) at the end was. I had no idea who she was.

No, the bad guy in the after credits was a bunch of Robo-Sonics. Amy shows up and saves them. Then another after credit scene showed Shadow still alive, collecting his bracelets out of a crater.
