lol @ Red Robin Wedding and Bill Gate's tats. Also, I liked the ending, the Charlie Brown music was perfect.lol insanity is happening. and anyone who has not watched GoT is not going to have any fucking idea whats going on.
Especially with fat GRRM not being upstaged by Gaben. Could have been like Gandalf saving the day at Helm's Deep. They missed a golden opportunity to have the master race show up. Would have been hilarious.
Truly. They dropped the ball. They missed a golden opportunity to have the master race show up. Would have been hilarious.
the old guy in the garden was telling stan that cartmen would betray them and cartmen was like, why don't you just tell everyone everything, like what was prometheus was about, while your at it.the what?
Speaking of this, how the hell are Star Trek nerds not part of the PC master race? His response to Cartman should have been "It's illogical to pay more for a shitty version of the computer, resistance is futile, lower your consoles and surrender your games to us."They missed a golden opportunity to have the master race show up. Would have been hilarious.
I don't feel like the GOT story has ever progressed because there isn't any coherent story. It's just a collection of a bunch of stuff happening. Its more like 5 or 6 stories. Dany's story has progressed, the Stark story has progressed, the Lannister story has progressed. The story of GOT itself -- there just isn't an overarching story. And from what I can tell that's not just intentional but completely the point. It's just shit that happens because reasons.Fair assessment, however the storydoesprogress. It just seldom goes in the direction the average viewer wants, or expects, it to go. It's not formulaic Hollywood i.e. Man gets wronged, overcomes adversity, plots revenge, emerges victorious and rides off happily into the sunset.
A large part of the SP parody (waiting for the pizza - you didn't even order it yet?!?!??) refers to R.R. Martin's anguished fans anxiously awaiting the next book (which takes years to write). There was agreat comment on Redditon his writing process on why exactly it takes so long to write these books.
If you're on the fence with GOT, just dive in - you won't regret it.
You should read up on how the obscenity laws work. Pornography is actually illegal in the US, the government just doesn't enforce it unless the media takes notice of something or someone in the industry is stupid enough to get into a dick-measuring contest with them.I'd guess there's probably some FCC rule regarding erections that even HBO can't get around anyway.
I don't watch the show, never read the books, know nothing about it either. But I've gleaned enough about it from it being such a phenomenon to understand the SP send ups contextually. Sounds like a soap opera drama for D&D nerds that their wives can also enjoy, with lots of pay cable nudity and a story that never goes anywhere. Sort of like Walking Dead with writers, production value and tits?
