watched the whole thing, its a must see. if you are on the fence, dont worry. there is something in there for everyone.
Molina. Dafoe, Garfield and Mcguire nailed all their scenes. JK Simmons was great as always. even the MJ chick was much better in this film. pretty cool that Garfield does exactly what i thought he would do earlier in the thread. there was one scene toward the end with Electro whining about how being black keeps him from being anyone special, they could have edited that out.
i cant recommend this highly enough. its full on geekgasm porn. nobody will be disappointed

I dont see how this sets up anything multi demenctional beyond just proving to strange it exists

Strange also seemed off in the beginning, was expecting his wig to come off and be someone else

Wow. That movie was fantastic. It wasn't chock full of action, but it was a great blend of action and drama. The multiple villains actually went well with the story without making it into a clusterfuck the way other movies have done. Great shit.

Spoiler free first night review
Absolutely fucking epic. This movie is the kind of movie that single-handedly raises the collective sentiment about every movie it was built upon. A few things happened that some friends and I theory-crafted and happened to get pretty much right, and I still lost my shit when they happened. Super emotional in parts, great banter like we should get out of a Spiderman movie, and just felt huge in scale. I cannot imagine anyone thinking this is less than a top tier if not top 5 or higher MCU film.

I recorded a little bit of the movie. Opening sequence, the closing sequence, and the after credits scene. There wasn't a 2nd after credits theme, though. Instead, they showed the trailer for Dr. Strange 2.

My favorite unexpected scene in the movie was really early in. First 1/4 of the movie. A rock was caught. That was pretty cool.

My daughter is convinced the Strange in the middle of the movie with the box was an alternate Strange. She thinks his talk about letting them die and whatnot was out of character for the pacifist Strange we've seen thus far. Having an alternate Strange get into this universe certainly feels like what the post credit trailer was getting at.

Strange told Stark point blank that he would let him and Parker die to save the soul stone. The ONLY reason he gave it up to save Stark was because he had foresaw that it was the only way they would have a chance to win. Letting someone die is not anti pacifist.
