No it won't. It's not the first time that sort of thing has happened and wont be the last. If anything, should they get in trouble for it, WWE will tell the guy look we'll just ban you from our events and not press charges if you leave it alone. Meanwhile it wont save him from Bret Hart pressing charges.

IF anything, Vince is going to reward Dash for that shit. Which, good.

Lawsuit wouldn't go anywhere. Right now, he faces spectre of criminal charges AND Hart would be within his rights to sue the guy as well. Even if he "won" vs. WWE, he'd lose in the end.

Lawsuit? Wilder should be facing criminal charges. Not to defend the crackpot, but that punch was far more egregious than grabbing Bret and falling over backwards with him, which is all the dude actually did. Wilder wasn't defending anyone with that punch.

You can make a case for self defense when a fan jumps the guard rail and runs at you. You can't when there's footage of a guy being dragged out of the ring and you stop to take a wind up punch while the guy is unable to defend himself. WWE is cutting this dipshit a fat check.

No, they won't. It's not the first time it's happened and they've been fine. Again, if it comes to that they'll just agree to not press charges if he drops it or give him a ton of merch. It wont cost them anything out of pocket, just like it never does.

Go google fans jumping baracades and you’ll see all sorts of videos of excessive use being used when taking the fans down and multiple people pummeling them when it’s clear they were subdued or not a threat and nothing came of any of them.
