About goddamn time!
Can someone do that in a publicly traded company? I wouldn’t think that would be a thing.I hope Shane sues for control. IRL angles are the best ones.
According to a quick search he personally controls ~80% of the vote. He may have been reluctantly convinced to hang it up or something, but I don't think he can be forced out.Holy Fuck, Never thought Vince who still controls the majority of WWE stock would be forced out
I assume he was pressured to leave as the board found a lot more than we are currently aware of. Vince is a lot of things, but a businessman is first and foremost and maybe they used this information to get him to step away before they released it and hurt their stock and saved him lawsuits. Also, Vince cares a lot about his legacy and this is already bad enough.
