Biggest problem with Bray is he rambles on about absolutely nothing every time he talks. Nothing he says has any value so it's easy to tune him out. You can be the greatest talker in the world but if you don't have anything interesting to say, nobody gives a shit.

And yeah Paige is done at this point. And she doesn't even have TNA to fall back on. Might as well just do porn while people still give a shit about her.

Oh she could get her ass kicked in Japan for a few years. She isn't methed up enough for porn yet, unfortunately.

I am sure she wants out. She wants to follow Del Rio. If the rumors are true that WWE tried to break the two of them up I can see there being issues. She's young though. She can go hit Mexico and Japan, hopefully gain some maturity, and head back to WWE. Right now I am pretty sure that they are just holding on to her and making her finish her contract. Even if that means she's not gonna be on TV.

How the fuck does wrestling have so much operating costs?

I don't even want to think about how much the WWE pays in operating costs. 5-6 different venues a week with 2 main shows, live shows, and NXT. They cut most of that by not reimbursing talent for travel and accomodations, but you still have the TV crews, roadies, and shit.

not reimbursing travel costs does lighten the load on production costs, but it increases talent costs. i mean, let's say we're going to pay wrestler x 30k a year to wrestle for us. except it's going to cost him 20k a year in travel expenses (food, lodging, car rentals, etc). wrestler x's salary is now longer a liveable wage and he's going to be forced to find work elsewhere. we're not saying we're going to give him an extra 20k a year for travel expenses, but before he signs any kind of contract, he's going to look at that and say, yeah, no. for an independent league. yeah sure that's a huge salary but not for WWE. in order to KEEP talent they have to pad their salary in some way to cover at least a bare minimum of travel costs. now if that dude decides to fly first class, order nothing but room service at 5 star hotels and ride around in limo's... he's gotta cover that himself.

slight derail.

production costs are ridiculously high. there are A LOT of hidden costs that go into it more than just what is immediately apparent

So apparently WWE is saying that Paige isn't hurt enough for them to pay for the neck surgery that she needs:

In what appeared to be a diagnosis of Paige's neck from a doctor or expert of some kind, Del Rio's tweet included the following description of what appears to be a pretty significant injury:

"You have a disc herniation at c6/7 pushing on the exit of the C7 nerve root and causing all your side upper extremity pain and some of your neck pain. Also, you have a lot of wear and tear for your age."

After the screen shot included in the tweet (view here), Del Rio sarcastically wrote the following reaction:

"Hmm ... interesting and they say she's not hurt."

Forbes magazine is claiming that John Cena may turn heel. I just repeated this out loud and my kids got pissy. My six year old has been yelling at me for 15 minutes now. He keeps saying I made it up, and John Cena is a good guy. He's accusing me of falsifying the webpage that reported it.

Say what you want, but he's over with kids more than anyone else on the roster since Daniel Bryan.

for the longest time my son refused to acknowledge that seth rollins was a bad guy. all of his heel antics meant absolutely nothing to him. there are some people you just want to cheer for no matter what.

Cena is way more over with kids than Bryan was. Bryan's fan base was the basement dwelling indy loving internet neckbeard demographic (the other half of WWE fans).

Also, Forbes is pretty much a tabloid these days. I wouldn't put too much stock into anything they write.

I thought the promo was pretty good(I tuned it to last part of RAW for that tonight). It felt empty though since Lesnar didn't show up for a confrontation. I was like that's it? I feel bad for the people that watched the entire 3 hours just to see him talk for 5 minutes.
