Maybe they will add in Grand Nagus Rom. To show how his socialist, diversity, equality, etc. changes to ferengi culture have made them a super powerful and godlike species living in their own little utopia.

Yea, I don't care how good season 3 is, if it requires watching season 1 and 2, after reading this thread about them, I ain't watchin any of it.

Forcing my way though 1.5 seasons of Discovery made me hate NuTrek enough that I have a very low tolerance for any of it.

I should thank Wil Wheaton. Star Trek Online putting his ugly mug on the current cover art got me to finally uninstall the game permanently.

Part of me hopes Picard S3 is good, and part of me doesn't. On one hand, It would be sad if Patrick Stewart's last days in a Trek TV show was him crapping all over what the character Picard was in the TNG days. On the other, I don't want to feel compelled to watch it. I can remain content at never having watched a episode of Trek since BakulaTrek went off the air.

Watching the tortured RLM reviews is the closest I've gotten to any new Trek.

Strange New Worlds is actually quite decent and probably the best ST show since DS9 (I haven't watched a minute of Discovery).

I've been attempting to get through Picard S2 for like 3 months...it's brutal. Patrick Stewart doesn't even seem to know what the fuck he's doing in it. He deserves a dramatically better send off than that.

Just jump to the last episode. You'll have some feels and not know what the fuck is going on.

Which coincidentally is exactly where you'd be if you'd watched the entire season.

you could summarize picard s1 & s2 in like one or two sentences - "data dies, picards a robot now but it doesn't matter, the borg queen somehow returns but is a different person who is good, she failed to lead Trump to the presidency on Jan 6th and was sent to jail i think, I sorta forget what happened in s2"

s2 was all about Q, he pops in for 5m at the beginning of the episodes, just watch the first 5 and skip the rest

The Q parts were good in S2, or at the very least, his initial scenes with Picard and his last scenes with Picard.

Dude, you forgot the drones that were going to prevent Picard's great great cousin getting in to space and changing the history of Earth by wiping out pollution and climate change (just ahead of world war 3 in 2049).
