whoops.

It actually took me a minute to realize the typo and I was already googling to see if he was in Curb Your Enthusiasm

I never minded the ewoks.

JUB JUB.

And I thought that when they were gonna cook up han and chewie... that was fuckin hillarious. They might be cute little furballs, but they're MAN EATERS. They were obviously there to sell toys and appeal to the kids... but there were those little bits dropped in here and there to appease a more adult viewing as well. Little fucking savages is all the really were. Cute little man eating savages.

Did henson pupetter them? That's sort of a henson thing, mixing the dark into the cute as well as that and being subtle enough about it that you can read it either way and be right.
Imagine all the work it would take for those little people to set up that double log trap. Hundreds of man hours for one trap that is completely totally useless unless an AT-ST is standing directly in that one spot, immobile. They designed a trap for the mobile assault vehicle of choice for the Empire, made it out of wood and whatever hemp-like plant they have to make rope out of, they did it in advance, and it relied on a stationary target.

This is a race that should be wiped off the fucking moon for incompetence.

pretty much all the comics have been excellent except for the Chewbacca one that just started...its pretty weak. All have had stuff in them that give a much broader understanding of what was going on under the surface of the OT, and how that will play into the new trilogy. Vader, Star Wars, and Shattered Empire have been the best but Lando was really cool too. Still haven't gotten to Leia but I have a few issues on my table for this weekend. There's a one shot 3PO coming soon that apparently involves the story of why he has a red arm.

Newest battlefront trailer has vader busting in an throwing light saber to "kill off screen" a few rebels and then he has it reclaimed... so they may just be trying to make it a vader thing- also its in masters of terikasi or whatever that fighting game was... I think I said that before...sorry... but I thought of this thread when I saw the battlefront trailer.

Stormtroopers that can actually fight and shoot o_O
I was about to comment that very thing. I know JJ has stated he wanted them to be more realistic and not just a body count. Nice to see an army that is actually trained for battle. Pretty cool actually...

Especially when you consider that scene is actually 2 guys trained as stormtroopers fighting each other.
