I have enjoyed many bad movies, Stone Cold most recently has become a favourite. This is not a ‘bad movie’, this is worse because there is no excuse for this movie to have been as stupid and idiotic as it was. No one thought about anything in this movie because they were too busy celebrating themselves for their ‘message’ and ‘movement’.
“The Force is Female”, fucking disrespectful condescending cunts. You don’t take a beloved franchise and try to remake it your own image, and that is what happened here and it is grotesque parody of what the original trilogy was.
The prequel trilogy was made because George Lucas was in love with the technology of film making, not story telling. He cared more for how the movies looked than he did about telling a story. He wanted to make ‘Gone With he Wind’ in fucking space and yet forget to add depth of character and not have dialogue that sounds like it was written by a higschool,drama student.
He at least didn’t shit on the original trilogy (outside of the special editions) with the prequels, just didn’t respect the fans attachment to or how quickly the kids he made the movies/toys for would outgrow shit like Jar Jar.
The Last Jedi felt like it was made by people who legitimately hated me as a fan and wanted me to know it. Lucas didn’t hate the fan base, he just didn’t respect it and took it for granted like Disney has.
I truly hate this movie and yes I hate this movie because it is not my Star Wars and didn’t even try to respect my Star Wars.
I hate this movie because at most it should have just annoyed me but still entertained, a little, me like TFA did, this did not entertain me...
It bores me and made me angry.

Let me try and be less hyperbolic for you Scream, so you don’t think I am just ranting. (Again)
Movies like John Wick, The RAID, Karate Kid, etc work because, as stupid as some of these movies are, they make sense within that movie world.
The Last Jedi does not. From beginning to end, it does not make sense in the Star Wars universe or even within it’s own at times.
Ignoring the beautiful cinematography in several scenes, excellent effects, and the absolutely fucking awful writing, but not the atrocious dialogue, it is not a Star Wars movie.
I am not going to tell anyone what they can or cannot enjoy, like, or hate. Personally, I truly hate this movie and rank it alongside Pixels and Divergent as the worst movies I have ever scene.
But I do love talking about how much, and why, I hate it so there’s a little silver lining for you.

I think it does make sense in that world and I think it does a fine job at that. To be clear, I dont think TLJ is a "good" movie. I put TLJ at the bottom of the current main canon films. It has its issues just like the others you mentioned. But to me it has Star Wars stuff happening in the Star Wars world and I enjoy that shit.
It's all the OMFG FAT ASIAN KENNEDY RUINED IT WITH HER VAGINA DISNEY WILL BURN OMFG idiocy that is just so goddamn stupid it makes my head spin.

you know what though? Pixels was a bad movie, but it had a really good concept, it just had Adam Sandler starring in it. should have been about the kids in the beginning playing a video games championship and then they had to defeat aliens for real. the adult aspect is what killed it.

They're exactly what I said they are - Imperial Officers and Star Destroyer Captains. And most of the people you named weren't even named in the actual fucking films, they are not Senior Imperial Leadership on the scale of Vader or Tarkin.
