Look, I liked the Force Awakens and I like it more that I read up on the backstory. Still Abrams could have done things slightly differently to craft a much more believable story, but I do understand that he had 2 hours to put almost every major player on the screen.
There's a line at the very beginning where the guy Poe Dameron is talking to says, "There can be no balance without the Jedi."
So if that isn't just some random throwaway line that means that neither Anakin nor Luke were the Chosen One because balance has yet to be restored, as there are no Jedi. That is further proof that Rey may have some mysterious origins and be a much bigger player than we are lead to believe.
Also, she was left with Unkar (the asshole pawnshop owner who tries to have her mugged for the droid) and was basically forced into a life of involuntary servitude/slavery. Luke, Han, or none of the good guys would have done this, for any reason. So we can reason that her family, if she really even has any (I think she's the real Chosen One), are basically a bunch of assholes, or are villains.
The biggest evidence that Plagueis is Snoke is that Collider's feature article featured Plagueis portrait as Snoke (they had insider information, including the CANON origins/identities of all the new major characters such as Maz, etc.) but Disney requested that they remove it. As the author pointed out, in a ten year relationship, even when he's flogged Disney movies, they have never requested that he remove an article. He basically put a little too much information in the feature, information that wasn't meant to be disseminated yet.
I believe that Rey is the real Chosen One, but that's heavy speculation based on the tweets and what we've seen so far. No other origin really makes sense, and it would definitely be a cool twist to come full circle.
I know that Snoke is Plagueis. He just is. If he isn't, I'll come back and post a video of me eating my shoe.
How much more heavy handed do they have to get with their hints?

Look at the notes as they're compared. Only one addition in the ENTIRE score is a third pitch in the ascending line meant to signify Snoke's return to power. Who else would they creatively have as their villain if not a former Sith more powerful than Palpatine? I mean he's perhaps one of the strongest Dark Side users in canon, someone who cheat death itself? Plagueis is going to be an awesome villain. He's stronger than Luke, he's stronger than Yoda, and the only person who could perhaps take him down currently would be... a reincarnation of the force itself.
