The problem with phoenix use is that it kind of hurts you for any bio timing. You can prevent drops but you don't have the AoE needed for that 2 medi push. Stargate just doesn't translate into pvt very well and pretty much equals an all-in for me. Granted, I'm just a mid/upper diamond player. I've seen plenty of pros try it on their stream but their army isn't strong enough. Just saw Rain with perfect control of an oracle but that is VERY difficult to do.I would like to see a lot more games. For example, I have not seen any phoenix use vs terran. Maybe it would be terrible, but would like to see it tried.
The games were good. A few cheesy builds were used. Rain was significantly better except for 1 FF engagement. Series probably shouldn't have been as close as it was. Was nice to see Protoss beat a Terran but it's sad to see how well Rain played and almost lost a series. What happened with the Rain vs Jjakji games? I missed them, I see Rain won 3-2 but how were the games?
I think it's a lot more entertaining to watch than the 4 base to 200 supply matches where nothing happens in the first 10 game minutes and then you just see massive armies killing each other over and over for 2 minutes until one guy runs out of money. And when someone constantly attacks at three different spots while the opponent just a moves his F2 army to defend one, well, I wouldn't blame boosters and mines.Flash is great, but watching this medivac boost shit and widow mines just owning everything, this isn't even entertaining to watch.
I think you are missing the point. The idea behind the play is not that the terran has to do great multitasking while the zerg or protoss just attack moves a ball of units. These are all good players with good multitasking.I think it's a lot more entertaining to watch than the 4 base to 200 supply matches where nothing happens in the first 10 game minutes and then you just see massive armies killing each other over and over for 2 minutes until one guy runs out of money. And when someone constantly attacks at three different spots while the opponent just a moves his F2 army to defend one, well, I wouldn't blame boosters and mines.
Like I said the "plot" for Starcraft 2 is fucking retarded and retconned all to hell.I just can't get over the fact that a huge portion of the "plot", if you even want to call it that, revolves around this:
Kerrigan is a highly trained psionic assassin, master infiltration expert, expert spy, who can read minds, sense people over vast distances, control millions of Zerg with her mind, has conquered the majority of known space, deceived entire races, can infest humans to control them, and has slaughtered countless millions. She even comments during the game how Mengsk is a master manipulator. She is, of course, is instantly fooled by a single news report about her boyfriend being dead.
Yeah, mentioned yesterday that MC thinks SG is the way to go in PvT. MC makes builds work that shouldn't work though. I just don't see it, SG has to do a ton of damage or you are very far behind because the bio ball eats SG up mid to late game.I guess MC thinks phoenix openings might be the new standard against terran?![]()
Assuming he goes from oracle into phoenix again.
Cocaine is a hell of a drug.My buddy wasn't sure if he just completely forgot the plotline or if it was retconned... I let him know that in this one instance he was not actually crazy and that most of this grand story was being excavated directly from Metzen's anal region.
