Thats a shame, I agree, he is one of the few NA players that are entertaining to watch. I didn't catch his losing matches though since i was pretty busy this weekend
NA qualifiers were pretty boring aside from a few players.. the skill level between NA and Koreas average players are just.. apples to oranges
I can't stand the asian guy that casts SPL..
The lisp he has is just... overwhelming man, just.. ugh haha

Demuslim and Goswser are the only two NA players who can stand toe to toe with KR at the moment. QXC is good and all but he's only like 25 in his Masters bracket in KR and he ladders on it a ton. He is not nearly as good as Demuslim is at the moment. You can see it in the way they analyze reps why one is better than the other. QXC can sometimes do unbiased rep analysis but most of the time he is just raging and points to one minor reason the game was lost. Demuslim actually goes in objectively and criticizes his own play for the loss and tries to fix it.
QXC also comes off as pretty arrogant and he's one of those annoying streamers that constantly has his GF present and when she is present acts insufferably annoying. I also hate it when Demu has a girlfriend and she is present.

Apparently if your opponent is a mega gosu widow mines are the worst possible unit to have in a blink all-in situation

Guess Zaphid, you really have no faith in protoss eh? sOs did just win some tournament recently where he crushed a ton of top level koreans. Plus Parting is still a monster, even though that group is godmode. I don't have any faith in Flying making it out of his group though...although watch him be the one protoss that does advance...

PvT is a bit of a crapshoot, because single mistake can lead to SCV train running through your natural and the most stable toss, Rain, is already out. As usual, we might see people coming up with brilliant new builds that will let them 4:0 their groups, but Flying is an underdog in his group, Parting can go 0:4 easily with the people he's against and sOs is against 2 of the best TvPers on the planet...

New ladder maps.
Don't really like that protoss one at all. The Zerus one seems like it's waaay too big and has too many bases. I actually like the Char Marsh one, although I won't how fast Main to Main is.

Thank fucking god Daybreak is finally out. I'm willing to give the new maps a chance, they don't seem broken at a glance which is a huge improvement over the past. The protoss one has rather good layout for lategame and counterattacks once you get to 4 bases. Swamp one I have no idea how the choke will end up working. Sure you won't move through it with maxed army, but strong timings ? Zerus is definitely too big and the middle rather narrow once you realize that's where all the 200/200 battles are going to take place and no ground based counter-attacks. It will end up like Entombed 2.0 I think.
I think they all look pretty decent. Zerus looks big but very, very droppable. So decent for Terran. Watchtower looks like a decent straight-up map similar to Star Station but far less reaper friendly. Mire looks odd but I'm not going to discount it. Looks very chokey.
They're taking out 2/3 of the maps I already have vetoed out of the pool. And I've been considering throwing my veto on Daybreak since I have such issues TvP on that map.
