For 10 bucks if you like 4x, definitely. It's a fun game.
I was disappointed with Sniper Elite v2. I'd say no, personally.

It can be a bit tough to get a handle on what is happening at first, but as some have said, it's the best 4X game since MOO2.

Ah yes Ive heard of those. Any similar type games like it on steam? Not only do I <3 these type games but have a few PC gamer buddies who do as well, and they only have steam.

lol I was just coming here to ask if it was worth the $20. Glad you cleared that up for me!
It's garbage but their Game of Thrones RPG isn't so bad if you don't mind shitty combat (basically a worse version of KOTOR combat) if it goes to $5-10 it's worth picking up

Bought the re-release of FF7 on PC for $6. Also picked up a bunch of games for DS and 3DS on Square's half off sale. I'll have enough RPG time to tide me over till next Christmas now.
Looked at a few trailers and gameplay videos for Dark Messiah, hopefully it hits the 75% off sale.

It's a little cleaner but it's the same block style graphics from the PS1. Updated a few things to correct them from previous versions but all in all not a big enough draw. I picked it up because I can play it on the go with my laptop and it was only $6.

Ok, since it is on sale yet again, going to ask about Sims 3. I don't think we have a specific thread for it because it isn't really the type of game that gets a ton of discussion here, and everywhere I look on the internet about it are people I am pretty sure I don't want their opinions.
I've never played a Sims game, ever, unless SimCity counts. I'm aware it isn't anything like SimCity, and I'm also aware that you can spend hundreds of dollars for the DLC. I'm also aware that tons of chicks play it.
So the question is, will I get enjoyment out of Sims 3? I'm not even sure exactly how you play it but I'm guessing it has a bit of a "playing house" aspect to it, which I guess is fine. I can run around in Minecraft for weeks just making my place look better, so that doesn't sound much different than playing house, except in Sims the point is to guide the actual Sim, right? But according to the video I can make them almost anything, up to and including a Yoga Pants Rapist, right?
Also, will I regret not buying some of the DLC while it is on sale, or conversely regret buying too much of it if I do buy some? Any particular ones that are definitely worth getting?
