I used to have issues logging into UPlay but not recently. My first UPlay game was Settlers7 and I still boot it up from time to time. It seems the login issue is basically gone.

Is it not enough to hate uplay on intent alone? Steam was serving Ubisoft games just fine and uplay offers nothing over it. It's an obvious cash grab and divides the market(where having all your gaming content on one service is a big bonus).

Meh. I'm too old to care about principals that would appeal to a college-aged version of myself. I like Anno and I like Settlers. Both require UPlay. I like those games more than I have any dislike for UPlay which seamlessly launches from Steam anyways.
Wait, wait, wait. The Eye of the Beholder series? I thought the rights for that were, like,terminallyfucked as in "worse than Robotech/Macross" levels of bollocks.

A bit late to the party but I bought Might and Magic 1 thru 6 a couple of years back on GOG and played through them for nostalgia.
1 and 2 are extremely dated. There is no hand holding and if you want to beat them legit you need a pad of paper, a pad of graphing paper, a pencil (with eraser preferably) and the patience of Jesus. They're still fun but just so dated.
3 is when the series took a turn. 1 and 2 were good in a very old school RPG way but 3 is where the series really starts to shine. You still need to take some notes but it's not really as bad. When I replayed the series though I got to the very end and found that I missed one critical item (I even went through the dungeon to get the item but somehow managed to miss it while thinking I picked it up). I actually had to use a hex editor to give myself that item because I had saved myself behind a locked door and was at a point of no return...
Xeen (despite being 4 and 5 it's still only one game) is one of the best RPGs of all time. Even today the game is phenomenal if you can get pasted the dated graphics. You can spend hours completing every little quest and bonus dungeon. It's just a great game.

The one thing I really liked about the series is how they all got tied together. The main bad guy was pretty cool and I liked chasing him across the games and seeing how everything tied together.

My friend tried to convince me 'Battle Raper II....THE GAME' was a serious fighting game once. I lost all respect for the man watching him beat an opponent senseless, her losing armor and fighting nude. It ended with a mini game raping these manga toons. It made no sense to me at all. Oh, I played the original Lula games.
