Also if you make it past the start screen LOL, its possible to stay in training mode offline by doing this

If you get into training mode on the beta and log off as soon as you're in you'll be able to stay in training mode offline! Try it.

I only made it in for 10 mins yesterday. Was able to play Chun Li, and that is it.

Looks like the Beta might not even come up this weekend. So salty right now

I got in for five minutes last night and played Ryu in training and then got disconnected. Oh well, Floe steam's stream last night was well worth all this bullshit. lol

They are trying to bring up the servers tonight and I got in for about 5 minutes into training and like a dummy tried to change characters and got disconnected.

Combofiend is posting updates every 20 minutes. From the little I've played in training mode the game is really great and noob friendly for a 41 year old fuck like me with a little frame drops. Combo wise it's like Omega/Cross ass. None of that stupid 1-frame link shit. Easy combo's like a NRS game(this genre needs to head this direction) I can't wait to play more! Hopefully at release the single player teaches people how to play SFV instead of boring trials. I know Ono really loved MK9 single player so I hope SFV single player will be at least decent. Single player needs to TEACH the system. IMHO, that should be the purpose of single player to prepare people for online and the systems of the game.

Edit: This is new rollback code for them so hopefully it'll be on par with KI's netcode and we'll all love it. KI devotes a whole core to netcode which is why KI's netcode is very good. These growing pains will be well worth it if they can get on par with KI's netcode.

Serves are up for the most part now. It just takes forever to get it in. I just put my remote control on a button on my stick and turned on turbo and got in eventually. Cammy and Birdie are live now.

Got in earlier today for a couple hours, fought only 2 people. Won both games free because everyone is a retarded jumping in button masher.

Ryu is pretty powerful. Meterless 3 hit combos that a baby could do for 350 is gross. All of which can be extended to more.

Tons of mix ups in Vtrigger. I can see them toning his power curve down since scaling in this game is almost nothing.

Infiltration was doing 9+ hit combo's and the damage scaling at 9 hits was 10% which really isn't worth it. Might as well try to reset the combo. That was with Nash though. I love the game and I think it's 100% better than IV. Regardless they want this game to be more ST than IV so I doubt they tune a lot of the damage back.

The lack of focus and no 1-link combo's makes it sooo much better. Definitely pre-ordering my next pay check. It's worth the money. This game really needs to be early access. Sony get on top of that and make it happen!
