If they can just stick to him being unambiguously good then I think they've got something here. James Gunn really does know how to make something look like a lived-in world with superheroes.

Only thing that bugged me was why is Superman bleeding from falling on the ice? Hopefully it turns out he was fighting some kind of badass that actually could break his skin

This looks like retarded gen z superman. Doesn't give off any traditional superman vibes, just sort of modern retelling of story that is super boring by this point, with new costumes and pantomime superheroes.

i'm interested it LOOKS like it might be good, and i am interested in seeing what Gunn Can do with DC. and are you sure that was mr terrific? looks like a green lantern ring power-does mr terrific have a GL ring?.(i don't know any of the "newer" GL's or DC characters, i know the Basic DC hero stuff but nothing much from the past 15-20ish years

That wasnt Mr Terrific using the ring. That was a white dude. They show Mr Terrific at 2mins.

I feel like I have faith in Gunn enough that it'll be enjoyable at the least.. but I also don't have any sort of nerdrage over inaccuracies over superman and dc comics. I think i'm more excited that he is okay with expendable characters. I just hope he doesn't go the way of expendable one-shot villains.

that thing at the end could be a sun eater , iirc they are powered by red sun energy which makes him weak.
