Wish I knew that sooner. Oh well I got the Jedi Knight armor I wanted most anyway. IF they don't fix this soon I may waste some Cartel Coins on a token and grab the rest.
Great tip, thanks for that!Heads up for anyone who has the free level 60 token on your account. As long as you don't hit level 61 you can delete that character and you can remake your level 60 again. Since the level 60 starting gear is all bound on legacy you can create a character, strip it down, rinse, repeat to get all the armor for your other characters. Some of it is pretty cool looking and worth the few minutes it takes to get.
The Section X rep gear looks like trooper armor. Need Champion Rep but it looks the same emp/republic. Just find a dye mode color you like and it can look real nice.Great tip, thanks for that!
Only bad news is that the outfits change depending on if you're empire or republic. I really wanted the armored trooper look on my jugg, but it's not to be.
It only works with the free 60 you got with the expansion. Don't delete a character you make with a bought token or you'll be out the token and the character.Wish I knew that sooner. Thanks.. I don't believe my character made it to any type of expansions or major content releases. (I don't how they've handled it over the years) I'll definitely start over. Appreciate it!Start over. Seriously, there's been enough changes it's better to just ease yourself back into it than try to figure it all out and pick up where you last left off. Caveat: If you last played during Shadow of Revan you should be good to go. Anything before that and the changes are significant enough to be intimidating.
Note with the account wide cargo bay/inventory unlocks: They do it for every character currently on the account. To maximize, you need to create a shitload of characters (whatever your cap is. Mine is 8 as a freemium) and -then- buy the unlocks. If you are subbing, use credits because credits become hilariously easy to earn later on. The single best freemium purchase is the Artifact gear account unlock, because it lets you use -everything- as opposed to being locked out of random flashpoint/operation drops. The rest is QoL stuff for the most part, but I'd say inventory and Artifact gear unlocks are the first two you should pick up.Yeah I did most everything in launch and I have NFI what is going on now. No clue how to play my BH. I need to start from scratch.
Time to figure out exactly what I need to purchase in the cartel market to optimize my gameplay.
There are 2 different flavors of the cargo bay and inventory unlocks: account wide and individual character. The account wide ones are more expensive in Cartel Coins and definitely more expensive on the auction house unless the seller isn't bright.Whoa, nevermind then! I vaguely remember purchasing one and then still having zero inventory increases on new characters, but this was easily right around the implementation of the f2p model. Do the account cargo bay increases also keep even with new characters?
This is where I am at now with my main. AFAIK there is nothing left for me to do on my main except grinding influence with companions and alliance specialists. My companions are already OP and making everything in the game trivial so that is causing me to lose interest.ok so having completed the 9 chapters and built my alliance (except lokin, waiting on rakghoul event obv), I realize now why they added level sync.
Earlier reports are right, so far this expansion is only about 8 hours of story content. The real time sink is the crates for influence for the 4 alliance specialists, which are rewarded from all of the heroic 2+ quests on every planet. So basically they overpowered companions so that everyone can solo every heroic 2+ mission they've ever created, and made doing that the primary method of advancement (for story/casual players). Crates give influence/crystals/companion gifts, ie everything you need to get 216/220 gear and lvl 50 companions
luckily with the mission terminal you can just grab entire planets worth of heroic quests, teleport to the entrance for every quest, then use N teleport to either ship droid to be near the mission terminal to grab the next planet's and repeat.
