Just got tickets to see U2 for The Joshua Tree Tour @ the Rose Bowl next weekend.

Was invited and went last weekend to see/hear Pat Benatar and Neil Giraldo - she still has a phenomenal voice and he can sure as fire still play. They were lovely - the story telling was great.
Rick Springfield opened; that dude was fucking born in 1949 and still has a rocking body. He played a huge set. His new stuff is catchy - Down is a pretty good tune.
It was um - an "interesting" crowd!
