Yeah telling the FBI you aren't a spy in a Russian accent is kinda fail.Accent magically gone? WTF. They are fucking spies in America of course they have lost their accents otherwise they are pretty shitty spies.
Haven't you noticed that just about every single tv show has a british actor playing an american? I don't think it is too far fetched to think the KGB could teach an american accent to a spy.a few things that bugged me... flashback 20 years, and chick is the same age. She has a Russian accent in Russia which is magically gone in the US (My wife is Russian she could not stand the whole accent thing either). The show seems to be lacking in a good amount of a story, so far it seems like they are bounty hunters who hunt down defectors, while holding down a family that will most likely be used against them later. Show seems very predictable and unrealistic to me.
She has a family and is willing to let her kids die for the motherland because America is evil.. wtf she has been here long enough to have 2 teenagers and is still all for the motherland. At least the guy makes sense when he is trying to defect and his reasons, Felicity is just as bad as she was in Felicity... this show will be cancelled after 1 season.
Exactly, listen to Hugh Laurie talk in real life, he's cockney as all fuck. Then watch House, you'd never know.Haven't you noticed that just about every single tv show has a british actor playing an american? Lingual coaches are now magic.a few things that bugged me... flashback 20 years, and chick is the same age. She has a Russian accent in Russia which is magically gone in the US (My wife is Russian she could not stand the whole accent thing either).

Hugh Laurie was born in Oxford, and attended Eton and Cambridge, where he was an oarsman and a member of Cambridge Footlights. He is nearly as far from being Cockney as an Englishman can be.Exactly, listen to Hugh Laurie talk in real life, he's cockney as all fuck. Then watch House, you'd never know.
I'm always surprised at how fast I slip back into an accent when I visit family in Chicago. It's fucking crazy how fast you can pick up an accent, though. As a kid I spent a month in Iowa (I'm from Vegas) and when I got home my friends did a WTF the moment I started talking.
Yeah, this is fast becoming one of my favorite shows and I really can't even put my finger on why exactly but the action/story moves well from episode to episode without getting bogged down in filler so far. Doesn't hurt that Keri Russel has aged very very well though I'm sure. The fact that everything Russia does seems to revolve around two main spies is a little.... but no real way to get around it.Really enjoying this show so far. Anyone else still watching?
