Does she have Tourettes? Whats the deal with the whole lip thing?
I mean I can understand after getting smacked in the mouth by a horse that they would hurt and you might do that to try and rub them but if you notice she was doing it before the horse bitch slapped her.

The first lip thing was just wetting them. I think the last two were more for the strange feeling in her nose after being smacked than her lips specifically.
