Also, don't hold your breath for 3DS emulation. The no$gba and DeSmuMe guys aren't even working on 3DS at all. DeSmuMe is just about perfect for DS now though, for people who still haven't played the good games on that system. At the very least you should play Radiant Historia and the Devil Survivor games (though sadly the improved versions of those are 3DS only).

Gunna get Bravery Default day1 as well in states. Anyone play the JP version and have impressions or have a link to a review for their impressions? I don't know much about it outside of the buzz on the internet.

Curious if anyone knows if it'll be available digital or if it's gonna be physical only? I prefer digital exclusive for handhelds (the whole "keep more games without having to keep track of them" while on the go deal) - but with the CE dried up already I've got it P/O'ed with Amazon physical JIC.

[Plus with digital although it's not relevant for Zelda or BD digital means wife and I don't have to share saves since we each run a separate SD card on the same system that we swap - big deal for Atlus stuff since they're all single save]

For the armored turtle fight in the Bravery Default demo is the idea just to get better weapons via building the weapon shop then default all your characters until the turtle blows his load and then brave all your characters to blow your load then rinse and repeat? It seems like it would have worked for me but my weapon shop was in-construction so only half my guys were doing more than 1 damage per swing.

I think for that I just mostly used black mages and defaulted when he put his reflect shield up. I never got the weapon shop thing done in the demo so my weapons where kinda shitty for the whole thing.

Ah I don't use magic. My team right now is Knight / Ninja / Valk / WHM. It seems like my idea would have worked if my Ninja, the main damage dealer, was actually dealing damage. But eventually my WHM's MP supply drained out and I wiped.

For phyiscal damage against the bosses without having better weapons and not using magic I used Valks with Jump. It still does decent damage without good weapons. Plus your characters take less hits since they are off screen a bunch.

I loved me seom FFT played it multiple times on multiple systems. This may be one to watch.

Sad times when a blurb about Yasumi Matsuno's history doesn't even mention Tactics Ogre. FFT was just a LUCT knock-off with the FF name slapped on it.

That said, the fact that this is PC first and portable shit only as a stretch goal (which I'm sure it will hit anyway) definitely will get me to pledge $20.

Phone is the main (only) platform if the Kickstarter fails. If the Kickstarter is successful on even just the lowest goal, PC becomes the main platform.

In order to do this we turned to Kickstarter, however if this funding is met you aren't going to see an obvious phone game trying to make it's way into the PC/Mac realm. The game will be fully developed for agnostic platform play, meaning that the same game will be received on all platforms. Since we will be able to bring the game out to PC/Mac/Windows Tablets, we will be able to create a much deeper game then we would have if we were just keeping the game on iOS and Android, so in fact the iOS and Android users will be able to receive the benefits as well for this successful campaign since the main platform of the game will shift.

Knowing FFX's game play is pretty lackluster and the story turned out to be complete garbage think I'll pass
