Combat was horrid but the DLCs were actually pretty awesome.


Still being literally forced with no other dialogue option to ask “why do you pretend to be a man” in order to move the story forward is just sophomoric levels of writing.

I agree with that. The final DLC that
had you chasing Solas and learning everything was awesome

Some of the characters were really shit and some were cool. The Grey Warden stuff was awesome if you played DA:O. I personally think the Grey Wardens are bad ass as fuck.

definitely recommend P5 to anyone, Nier has been making a lot of top 5 lists from places I respect so I'm gonna check it out, didn't love the demo but heard the game story is kinda deep and weird

Nier's story was fantastic and the way it plays with some game systems is pretty clever, The combat is pretty shallow. It was my GoTY. Just make sure you play through all 3 routes.

its a 600 meg download so i'm not honestly sure how its supposed to be that much better, i honestly don't notice that much of a diff. I played a few mins today, I login every friday afternoon to FH3, do the forzathon challenges, and then wait till next week. Its definitely my favorite xbox one game, like 100+ hours into it, but i rarely play online since its just people crashing into each other like drunk french drivers

Just played spronk spronk 's Blizzard Mountain Hot Wheels map and got 1st. Jesus those cars slid everywhere. Only won because of a massive pileup at the end.

yeah that is nuts. Its not just sea of thieves, ALL new exclusive xbox one games - Crackdown 3, State of Decay 2 - will be available day 1 for "free" if you are an xbox game pass sub. Still, thats an extra $10/mo or $120/yr so unless they plan on releasing more than 2 games/year its still better to just sub to pass for a while, exhaust the library as you see fit, and then only resub if a game that you really want pops up.

since its digital it should also let you play on PC i think those new games, but not sure?

also god of war gets a release date, 4/20

Yeah, the Verge interview about it says Play Anywhere isn't supported, but ReCore - the only Play Anywhere title currently on Game Pass - does work. I think journalists are getting confused by the 'Xbox Only' verbiage on the program since the bulk of the titles aren't available on PC and the store entry for the subscription says Xbox Only.

the assumption is microsoft is reorganizing this year to focus more on first party - they have a new VP of first party who came from minecraft, statements from their guys, etc but its gonna be 2 years probably before we really see anything so yeah... dunno. Should be an interesting E3 to see if xbox can get some hype going.

I think it's a good value for current gamers, but it's just stupid how much you can get if you are just now buying an Xbox. Between EA Access and Game Pass you instantly have like 200 titles.
